More promises- but still nothing tangible for some of the investors who visited the Chaguanas office of Trillions Systems Limited- after James Kerron Rose told them on social media on Wednesday that the office was reopening for business.
Mark Bassant went seeking answers hoping to find out if there was any new hope on the horizon for the three thousand odd investors.
00:00Investors who had spent their hard-earned money hoping to realize a financial dream with Trillion System Limited since last year, trickled into the Chiguanas office today, hoping for some definitive word on their investments and when there would be projected payouts. They came and went, but for those who chose to speak, there was no good news.
00:22Another investor who didn't want to be identified also said he was told by the employees at the business place that he had to be patient.
00:46A statement all too often that many have heard continuously on social media from James Caron Rose.
00:53How long last year?
00:54That would be since December.
00:57December?
00:58Yeah.
00:58And do you think it's about that time when you should be paid?
01:01Yeah.
01:03Alright, well we hope you and wish you best of luck.
01:05Thanks.
01:05Welcome.
01:06Other investors we spoke to off-camera said they had heard the office was open today and were coming to see what was happening, following what they had seen on TV6 and The Express and were hoping for some answers.
01:18Answers that not even employees at Trillion's could give to us while we were there.
01:22How much longer do people have to wait to get their money?
01:26You can't say.
01:28So we spoke with a guy called Mr. Velmore who seems to be the security for the building.
01:34He said there are two employees inside conducting business.
01:38There are a few people, investors have come here and he cannot say when persons are going to get their money.
01:45Of course, Mr. James Caron Rose is not present here and I think a lot of people want to actually speak with him directly.
01:55Others who left the building weren't so forthcoming with answers, but their body language perhaps expressed some sense of disappointment.
02:03Were you promised a payment?
02:05Are you going to get paid?
02:06I have no comment.
02:07No comment?
02:08Have you seen the story that a lot of, over 3,000 persons have been waiting for their money?
02:17Do you still believe that you will be paid?
02:20Just one question as to when you are going to get your money.
02:23Any answer at all from the employees there?
02:27Sorry?
02:28No comment.
02:29While it may be business as usual, the burning question remains, when will these people be paid?
