01:00Well, like me, if you're a bit of a sucker for a white guitar, check this baby out.
01:19The vintage VS6 is one of the smartest looking guitars I've seen in a very, very long time.
01:24I think this classic vintage white finish really suits this double cutaway design.
01:29It looks really, really classy.
01:32So what I'm going to do is to just show you the features on the guitar, and then we'll
01:35go through some of the tones.
01:36We have Grover Deluxe Tuners, which are a really lovely appointment on this instrument.
01:43They look really cool.
01:46We also have a Graf-Tech nut, so that will guarantee virtually no friction on the strings.
01:53When you're doing string bends and things, the strings will travel freely on the nut with
01:56no slagging.
01:57We have a one-piece mahogany neck, which has a lovely soft C profile.
02:03It's very comfortable to play.
02:05It feels really nice.
02:06When I play, even when I'm sitting here playing little licks, the guitar just feels so nice
02:14under your fingers.
02:15We have 22 medium jumbo frets, 12-inch radius fingerboard, so it's really nice and comfortable
02:21and smooth.
02:23A one-piece mahogany neck.
02:25It's attached to a mahogany body.
02:27It's a glued-in neck joint, and you may notice here that we have this offset joint between the
02:33body and the neck, which offers unlimited access to the upper frets.
02:38The pickups are Wilkinson double coils, and they are linked to a standard three-way toggle switch
02:44with volume and tone controls dedicated to each pickup.
02:50I'll run you through some of the tones now.
02:52So let's start with some clean tones on the neck pickup.
03:03Okay, mid-position.
03:16Kind of nice and spanky.
03:30Kind of like that.
03:32Bridge pickup.
03:33Good.
03:48Nice and sharp.
03:49Nice and bright.
03:49We like that.
03:50Let's put some overdrive sounds on here.
03:52So we'll start with the neck pickup.
03:53Okay, middle position.
04:18I'll just back off some of the neck pickup just to let the bridge humbucker breathe a little
04:23bit more.
04:43Bridge pickup.
04:53I love everything about it.
05:19I love the balance.
05:21I love the neck shape.
05:22It just feels amazing.
05:24It's just effortless to play.
05:26The Wilkinson pickups just sound brilliant.
05:29You know, you can go from brutal to sweet.
05:31The flick of a switch stays in tune perfectly.
05:36Love the color.
05:37I'm crazy about this color.
05:38I just think it looks amazing.
05:40If you're as mad on the vintage VS6 as I am, pop online and check out the range.
05:46Or better still, go along to your local vintage dealer and ask to check out the vintage VS6.
05:51Let's get started.
05:59Let's go again.
06:00Let's go over.
