MISSING MEN FOUND IN VALENCIA

Good news tonight for the families of two missing men- who were kidnapped in the Valencia area on Monday.   Today swift work by the police led to the freeing of the men- after two alleged abductors were detained, and their accomplices abandoned their victims in the forested area in Valencia.

00:00This is the forested area inside of San Pueblo Road in Valencia where kidnapped victims Ryan Singh and Kiran Lachman were being held captive over the last two days.

00:11Both Singh and Lachman had left their Dabidi home around 2pm on Monday to deliver scaffolding and an air fryer in Arima.

00:19It was while in transit to this location that the men were kidnapped and a ransom demand made it yesterday for both.

00:25This after Lachman's vehicle was found abandoned in the Arruca area.

00:30However, police acting on information were able to apprehend two suspects and would later got back to the other suspects who were guarding the kidnapped victims in this forested area and they fled the scene.

00:42The two kidnapped victims police say later left the forested area and were able to make their way to the Valencia police station where they were interviewed.

00:50A relative of both men visited the station leaving with one of the victims.

00:54Yesterday, Lachman's mother made an impassioned plea for the safe return of her son and sources say she was elated that her son had returned home safely.

01:04This was the second successful freeing of kidnapped victims over the last 48 hours with all victims recovered alive by the police.

01:11The other being the dramatic rescue of businesswoman Janky Sadie Karim in Rampanalgus along the Toko Main Road on Monday evening.

01:19Investigators say they will continue to search for the two other suspects involved in the kidnapping of the two men

01:24and believe that it is only a matter of time before they are caught.
