00:00Do you mind just introducing yourself there?
00:02Martin Evans, from Oswald Street, just visiting for the day.
00:05Yeah, perfect. How familiar are you with Clear Breeze?
00:08Quite familiar. I used to live around here, so I know quite well.
00:12Some lovely shop owners and keepers.
00:15Shame the butchers has gone, which must have gone a long time ago, but it was really good.
00:20But it's got a nice cafe, friendly.
00:23Actually standing outside a nice bakery, does lovely cakes.
00:27Anything else you'd like to mention about Clear Breeze? Anything that you like in particular?
00:31I just like it's kept its tradition.
00:34It's a traditional place, and this is a lovely place to visit.
00:38It is a traditional, one would call it a village.
00:42It's a bit more than a village these days.
00:44They're like mini-towns, aren't they?
00:47Well, I used to do it before. It's like a drone from a village to a mini-town.
00:50And everywhere on the outskirts gets built up a little bit more.
00:53But it's still kept in its tradition. The high street's lovely.
00:56It's just a really nice place to visit and come and have a little walk.
01:00Is there any businesses you've mentioned in particular?
01:02I know you've mentioned Ashley's Bakery here.
01:04Is there any of the businesses you've mentioned?
01:06Well, actually, there's a nice cafe.
01:08The cap up the road is a lovely cap.
01:10Friendly, the food's lovely.
01:12And there's this spicy podium.
01:14I've had a few things out of here in the past. That's quite nice.
01:16Brilliant. Perfect. That's perfect.
01:18Do you mind just introducing yourself first?
01:26I'm Jane.

01:28Yeah.
01:29Do you manage this store?
01:30No, I just work here.
01:32Okay. Brilliant. Perfect.
01:33How long have you worked at Ashley's Bakery?
01:35About a month.
01:37Okay. Brilliant.
01:38Yeah.

02:27It's just a nice place to spend a couple of hours, really.
02:30Yeah.
02:31Yeah, thanks.
02:32Are there any businesses you'd recommend in the area that people should come try in particular?
02:35Erm...
02:36I think we all try and support our own really around here, you know.
02:40We've got a lot...
02:41Like the last chap said, well, he's basically said it all out here.
02:45You know, we have...
02:46It's just a nice little place.
02:47You can get pretty much all you want here, really.
02:49Yeah.
02:50And what do you do with Ashley's Bakery?
02:52What do I do?
02:53Yeah, what do you offer here?
02:54Erm...
02:55It's all freshly produced just up the road.
02:58It's all just about a mile off the road.
03:01We've got our big bakery.
03:03And as you can see, we offer traditional breads and cakes and then more diverse breads and cakes, really.
03:09Yeah.
03:10Perfect.
03:11What's been like for best sellers today?
03:13Best sellers are always ice buns and crusty cobs.
03:16Perfect.

03:22So, I'm Marianne Farahanda and the owner of Clibbury Caff.
03:25Perfect.
03:26How long have you been in Clibbury?
03:27Erm...
03:28So, I've worked in this caff for about 12 months.
03:31I've owned it for about three weeks.
03:33Yeah.
03:34How long have you been in the town itself?
03:35Erm...
03:36So, I don't actually live in Clibbury.
03:37Okay.
03:38Erm...
03:39I was in Penzaks before with my parents and now I'm in Kilminster.
03:41Lovely.
03:42Perfect.
03:43So, what made you want to take over a business here?
03:46Erm...
03:47So, I always wanted a coffee shop.
03:49Yeah.
03:50Erm...
03:51And I started working at this one.
03:52Yeah.
03:53And realised that it was for sale.
03:55And so, I just kind of seized the opportunity and, yeah, bought this one.
04:00Yeah.
04:01What's it been like?
04:02Because you said you've been working here for the last 12 months.
04:03What's it been like being based in delivery for a bit?
04:06Erm...

04:27It's at the very foot of the Shropshire Hills.
04:30Erm...
04:31It's a bit out of the way.
04:32Obviously, you've got Kidderminster.
04:33Not too far.
04:34But, it's kind of like a little step back in time coming to this town.
04:37Yeah.

05:08And just seeing how everything has kind of stayed as it was, you know.
05:12Yes.
05:13Like a hundred years ago.
05:14Yeah.

06:51And it's a big public spirited place.
06:53Erm...
06:54It's a lovely atmosphere.
06:55I've never been so anywhere where so many people know by name.
07:00I think they know by name.
07:01Yeah.
07:02So...
07:03It's all like so.
07:04I just love the community.
