00:00I was born in Barrow Street and moved to King Street when I got married, that's it, full stop.

00:05Been here all your life? Yeah. What do you like about it?

00:08I just love it because it's nice, quiet, everybody comes out to help you if you need any help,

00:14they're so friendly, I mean I had an operation and the people that came say do you want shopping

00:21doing, you know people I'd hardly spoken to as well as friends, do you want your dogs walking,

00:28and it's just marvellous you know, the community is great. Most of the shops are independent,

00:36this bar that isn't obviously, but most of the littler shops, yes they're all independent.

00:42Found this town which I fell in love with, I did an overnight stop just to walk around by myself

00:48to find the feel of the place and it's lovely and I just sold my house and I was here within

00:53six months, it was kind of meant to be. First of all it's a lovely town, it's got history,

00:58it's a period isn't it, it's the 12th, 13th century I think, there's lots going on,

01:03there's lots of clubs, the people are very friendly, I don't drive so I have a bus,

01:08local bus that's very good and goes into Bridge North one way and Shrewsbury the other,

01:14trains back home to Hertfordshire where my other daughter lives,

01:18and it's the history as well, we've got the Olympics and everything here so it's got a lot

01:23of history to it and it's very nice, very nice town. I was welcomed without my neighbours,

01:28wonderful, as I said there's lots of clubs and yeah people are very kind.
