00:04Now, I don't think Nick Saban's coming back, obviously.

00:07He's not coaching this year, Scott, but I don't know how you feel about this,

00:11but I think that he will be back.

00:13I don't think, like, he never really had the retirement tour.

00:17He never really, it wasn't like it was building up,

00:20but it was building up and I got to go.

00:23He basically, they lost to Michigan in the Rose Bowl game that I was at,

00:26and he met with the team, like, two days after,

00:30and he was, like, heartbroken and distraught about losing a game,

00:35and he wrote, like, a speech.

00:36He prepared a speech to talk to the kids about facing adversity and stuff,

00:41and he walked into the room, Scott, and, like,

00:43the first thing, like, players started saying to him,

00:45oh, coach, I got a big offer from Texas.

00:48I got a big offer.

00:49Like, I got a lot of money offer.

00:50Am I going to be starting next year?

00:53And he basically, you know, he just pulled the plug sort of suddenly.

00:57I know he's having a good time on college game day right now.

01:00I think he does it for another year, Scott.

01:02He sort of soaks up the campuses.

01:04But I'm expecting Nick Saban to be back, like, next year.

01:08That's my prediction.

01:10And then you think, all right, where is he going to go back to?

01:13You got to wonder in Baton Rouge, Scott,

01:15if Brian Kelly continues not to get it done despite having top recruiting classes,

01:20is that considering the weapons that he's had and he hasn't won,

01:24I really don't see how anything's going to change for Brian Kelly at LSU.

01:30Do you think he'll go back there?

01:32Well, I don't think he wants to stick it to Alabama.

01:35So, you know what I mean?

01:36That's sort of – that's the one place that I can sort of see,

01:39and I can see them going all in.

01:40But I'm sure you've seen this, Scott.

01:43And this started in the offseason, and not even with college football guys,

01:47but Texas Tech, all right, Texas Tech paid, like, that softball pitcher,

01:52like, a million dollars to leave Stanford.

01:55And I'm thinking, damn, man, if they have that type of money to pay, you know,

01:59women's softball pitchers, what are they going to have for the college football team?

02:03Well, it turns out, guys, Texas Tech's payroll this year for their team,

02:08$28 million, Scott.

02:11$28 million.

02:13Ohio State was only 20 last year.

02:15All right?

02:16Like, Texas Tech are spending that type of money right now.

02:19And they're not going to win.

02:20So, God bless the boosters.

02:22So, you're not going to win.

02:23You're going to spend $30 million on players.

02:25You're going to fall short.

02:27And then you're going to blame the coach because you're going to say,

02:29wow, look at all the money that we have.

02:30And if you have enough money to pay softball pitchers

02:32and you've got enough money to pay $28 million to the college football team,

02:36you'll have enough money to give Nick Saban $20 million

02:39to come coach the team for a couple of years.

02:41It's not a conflict with Alabama or LSU or anything like that.

02:46It's kind of isolated.

02:47Texas Tech, you know, that's my bold hot take, Scott,

02:51as far as college football right now.
