00:16know I mean Stowers if I mean I don't know a lot of people probably didn't even watch the Marlins

00:20play the Orioles the games before that but I mean he looked like he had an extra gear and it's really

00:25hard to ever say that in baseball like you would say what do you mean yeah I mean he was like running

00:30from first to third he ran home one time when the ball was in the infield it just really seemed like

00:36he had it to get a little bit of revenge on his old team remember the Orioles traded him to the Marlins

00:41last year along with Connor Norby for Trevor Rogers so yes Stowers is the Marlins all-star and he's had

00:47a really good first half you know I like that young manager that you have down there and I like that

00:54team I think they're decent I thought their road performance in the first half was surreal

00:59yeah surprising on a lot of different levels Scott I mean I don't think anybody saw the Marlins you

01:07know potentially winning 75 or 80 games and maybe it still is far-fetched I don't know how people feel

01:12about it to this point but there are only a few games under 500 and they're sort of ahead of schedule

01:17to where you thought they would be very competitive you know remains to be seen what they do coming up in

01:23a couple of weeks and I think that will probably be the telltale sign if they end up moving some

01:27pieces to teams that are you know fighting for the World Series but it's been a really competitive

01:31first half for Miami and outside of you believe Scott the Marlins got swept by the Rockies at home

01:38outside of that it's been like an A plus first half it's crazy yeah it really is and you never see it

01:44coming until it happens like I I thought the biggest story this weekend was what Seattle did to

01:50Detroit at Comerica and all those runs they uh they swept the series and they just I mean they

01:56just poured it on them and it really uh is the first time I've seen any weakness in the Tigers

02:01in the entire first half yeah but as we've talked about before that's that's one team that you really

02:06shouldn't have any concerns with you're gonna see I believe it is three starters in the all-star

02:11game tomorrow night and the starting pitcher so that will make four and you know Scott is following

02:16baseball as long as you do that's a very uh starved city for a championship so I really expect the

02:23Tigers to make some whatever moves are out there to make I think that they will and yeah I mean look

02:28every team is going to go through three or four losses in a row but Detroit really with having

02:32scuba is built for the postseason I'm very curious to see what they add here on the 31st
