00:00We'll start off with the Tampa Bay Rays.
00:02Although they haven't looked good against Baltimore this weekend,
00:05it seems like they've just been hot all season.
00:07Although, Tom, I don't know that those games earlier in the week
00:10against Sacramento even count at this point.
00:13I'm watching the A's, and I'm thinking that this is like
00:17approaching Colorado-esque levels,
00:20like White Sox of a couple of years ago-esque levels.
00:24The A's, to me, may have the worst record in the last decade
00:29from May on.
00:30Like, it is stunning to see how bad they are,
00:33and everybody's getting fired.
00:34Their GM, their pitching coach, my buddy Marcotze, former Marlin.
00:38I don't know, man.
00:39I don't think he's going to make it through this carnage here.
00:42But we'll get to the A's here in a minute.
00:44Tampa Bay, they're now winning road games.
00:47I mean, look, Tom, I can make a case Judge comes back,
00:51Stanton comes back, maybe end of the season,
00:53Yankees get hot and catch them, I can.
00:55And, by the way, I can make a case that the Yankees may beat the Rays
00:58in a playoff series, too, or maybe Boston as well.
01:01I think the Rays are making the playoffs.
01:03I think they're winning the division.
01:04I don't know what's going to happen after that,
01:05but they seem good enough to me to get this done.
01:08Right.
01:09Great West Coast road trip for them.
01:11They went 9-0 on the road trip.
01:13It's, you know, it's good to see them win games when,
01:16you know, we talked about them so long.
01:18They're a machine at home, just constantly winning games.
01:20At one point, they were, like, 41-18 at home,
01:22just absolutely unbelievable.
01:23They struggled a little bit on the road.
01:25Yeah, you go on the road and you play a little bit lesser competition,
01:27but it is still good to pick up those wins.
01:29They come home.
01:30They lose a couple to, you know, division rival after a long road trip.
01:34You know, a hungry Orioles team that's, you know,
01:36fighting and scrapping for every win they can get.
01:38I don't think this is an indictment on the Rays.
01:39I still think they're very good overall.
01:41But, again, I think the Rays are in a tier of their own,
01:44at least when it comes to the AL.
01:46I think they're, you know, the top tier.
01:48And then we could put the Yankees and the Red Sox, you know,
01:51kind of like a tier two, like a 2A, 2B type of scenario.
01:54But I really do think the Rays are the class.
01:57I don't know if they're good enough to beat the Dodgers or the Braves,
02:01but they are the best in the AL as of now.
