00:00Hi, I'm digital reporter Amy Seddon.

00:04Preston College recently held their annual Student Awards,

00:08an evening dedicated to celebrating their most exceptional students.

00:12Preston College Film and Photography student Jake Moore captured scenes from the night

00:17and put them together to create the following video.

00:20I couldn't be prouder than to announce Cameron here as our student.

00:30There's probably only really one word for this evening and that's wow.

00:52I'm just blown away by the achievements we've heard about.

00:55I think that I don't need to say an awful lot

00:58because I think what the students have done during the course of this year

01:01and many of the stories we've heard really speak for themselves.

01:04But actually what our staff have said in those incredible videos that we've been watching,

01:09I think just say so much about not only the students who are here tonight

01:14and we particularly celebrate you, but just our students in general and the work they put in.

01:20You know, you really are the best of a very, very strong best that we have in Preston College anyway.

01:26I think you deserve not only our congratulations but our thanks for actually making our jobs

01:33probably more easier and more enjoyable than they might otherwise be.

01:37From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything that you do for the College.

01:41Difficult to follow up from those wonderful words and inspiring examples of hard work, dedication and achievement.

01:49What can I say, a huge congratulations to all of you, the 18 of you and those around you,

01:55family, friends, teachers who support and encourage you.

01:58The final award of the evening then is for the student of the year.
