00:49And you're so eager to get on power that you can have a few snaps like that.

00:52Hamilton, Russell, Norris, the top three.

00:55We're on board with Max Verstappen.

00:56A bit of traffic there as the Mercedes gets out of the way.

01:01Yes, it was George Russell, ladies and gentlemen.

01:04Where Max is, George is, and where George is, Max is, these two seem to go together like a pair of ballroom dancers doing the tango or the quick step week after week after week.

03:33When you listen to his, you know, the throttle in Stowe we were talking about before, you

03:38know, with Lindblad, he wasn't getting back on the throttle early enough.

03:41George definitely was.

03:42He was down a gear and he's back on straight.

03:44Liam Lawson will be next to cross the line.

03:46And when he does so, he goes fastest.

03:52About three-hundredths of a second clear of George Russell and about eight-hundredths clear

03:55of Oscar Piastri.

03:56And was third in the F2 feature race in 2022.

04:00So likes this place a lot and his confidence is certainly up at the moment.

06:22When you know you're running out onto the kerb, like I said before, you have to back out of it.

06:25And I'm sure he's not going to...

06:28And as soon as you upset these floors of the car that run so close to the ground, you lose so much downforce.

06:39And also, because he's gone over the kerb sideways, it can really damage the floor.

06:58Last race, of course, a bit of an amateur mistake and lost the rear in that concertina effect into turn three on lap one.

07:05And it's an embarrassing moment, but it's a rookie error.

07:08And, yeah, we call them rookies for a reason.

07:11I think that was always the plan at the start of this year, that it was his joke of season.

07:15So the brake pedal cracked in the last corner a little bit when I brake.

07:52Lewis Hamilton, six laps on this stint.

07:55It's not a massive difference, is it?

07:56But he's done him into Stowe.

07:58Lando Norris into Brooklyn by the BRDC Clubhouse.

08:03It comes on for an age, that corner.

08:09It's a painful corner for a driver.

08:11It feels like forever you're in it.

08:13And it never feels good.

08:15Understeer or oversteer, it's never that cool.

08:18I thought it, from the onboard shot, I thought he used all the track and more on the exit.

08:23And they moved that gravel back a few years ago.

08:25There's skill in that.

08:28Pigeons, my shoulders look far cleaner than ours.

08:31And I would imagine he's talking about Lewis Hamilton there.

08:34I would expect, after the summer break, a bit of a switch-off in terms of upgrades.

08:55First time he's been fastest in a Grand Prix practice session this season.

09:00Lando Norris, second fastest, separated by just a couple of hundredths of a second.

09:06Oscar Piastri, tenth and a half back in his McLaren.

09:09Charles Leclerc making it two Ferraris in the top four.

09:12Two tenths down ahead of George Russell and Isaac Hadjar for racing balls.

09:17Liam Lawson, his teammate, was eighth fastest.

09:19Albon popped his Williams up into the top seven.

09:21Antonelli and Verstappen complete the top ten.

09:25Verstappen half a second back.

09:26Same half a second to his teammate, Arvid Lindblad, on debut.

09:30Paul Aron, also on debut for Sauber.

09:33We saw plenty spinning, including the bottom two.

09:36Pierre Gasly and Gabriel Portoleto, who was a second and a half off the pace.

09:40Just 1.5 seconds between all 20 drivers.
