00:00You remember Henry Ruggs the third? Yes. He was the guy that got in that horrific
00:05DUI crash that killed people in Las Vegas. Here he is talking about what he would say to his
00:13victims now at a Hope for Prisoners event last night in Sin City. One that I wish I could turn
00:20back the hands of time. I would love for them to meet the real Henry Ruggs and not
00:27the one that was escaping from something. I sincerely apologize for not only being a part
00:37of that situation, but the fact that, not to take a shot at you, but the fact that my face
00:43is always in the news. My face is always in the newspaper, so they have to constantly be
00:48reminded of the situation, be reminded of me and see. Those memories have to continue to
00:56rise because of all of the famous notoriety that I have, which I never even, I never
01:03asked for. I never liked. You did it, bro. You know, so I would just tell them that, you know,
01:09like I said, I deeply apologize for just being, being a part of that, and I wish that they
01:14could meet the real Henry Ruggs and not, not one who was just running away from everything.
01:21I'll give you that. He was wasted the night he did it, but he did it, and no one else did it. He's
01:27the one that got behind the wheel. He's the one that was hammered. He's the one that killed him,
01:31and I can guarantee you, brother, they're never going to forget you. No one ever forgets anyone
01:38that kills their family or kills their family members, okay, drunk driving.
01:42Yeah. We made mistakes before, but here's the bottom line. Some of these guys are factory workers
01:47or has alimony payments. They have a couple too many. They go out. These guys are football players
01:51who have money. Like, it's like, I always say that, Scott. Like, why go to the club with a gunner?
01:56Like, just have a damn party at home. Like, you know what I mean? Like, you know what I mean?
01:59Have your security drivers, hire people, all these other things, but bad decisions are made with
02:04alcohol and drugs. Things happen, but no, it's, you're right. It's just, it's a shame.
02:08That whole story is just a shame. He said he, using alcohol was an escape
02:12from football. He wants to play football again. He would like to play for the Raiders again,
02:18and all I have to say to that is good luck. That's not happening. Like, you know, I don't see it
02:24happening. Like, people, what NFL team is going to literally take a shot on this guy after he did
02:30what he did? I mean, it's just that simple.
