00:00I want to ask you about the Pete Carroll hire in Las Vegas.

00:07Frankly, they were a mess.

00:08And now they after all the things that they've been through with,

00:14you know, the coaching mistakes,

00:18you know, you hire a guy for 10 years and he writes

00:21all these pornographic emails and racist emails.

00:24And they you know, I saw Mark Davis talking about he said, you know,

00:29it's just unbelievable what happened there.

00:31It you know, he blew up and then

00:35they make these other hires like Antonio Pierce.

00:40Nothing has worked when you think about it.

00:43Gruden's mess that Pierce now they turn to the old man.

00:47And that's just bottom line what he is. He's an old man.

00:49He's 74 when the season kicks off.

00:52Do you think he'll turn it around or will they still be the same crappy Raiders?

00:56I think over the last 10 years, they've lost more games than anybody in the NFL.

01:00I think that Pete Carroll will get the Raiders into the playoffs

01:04in the next three years.

01:06Now, you know, that's kind of a, you know, three years a long time.

01:09And all right to make the playoffs. But you're right.

01:12Listen, it was it was a disaster.

01:13It was one sort of mistake after another.

01:16And you're not going to erase all these mistakes in one hire or with one

01:20magic wand. This is let's stop the bleeding.

01:23Let's get some credibility.

01:25Sort of what we just talked about with Dion, where, you know,

01:29there would have been enthusiasm around the team, like with former players

01:32like the Irvins and and, you know, the Des Bryants of the world.

01:36And Micah Parsons on the team.

01:38I just sort of would have been a shot in the arm for everybody in a bolt of energy.

01:41Pete Carroll's a bolt of energy.

01:42He might be 73 years right now, but the guy, he's ageless.

01:46Like he's not like a typical 73 year old.

01:49You already see just sort of the positivity around the program right now with him.

01:54And I think, Scott, it's more so now with Pete Carroll in the room,

03:09and yesterday that he likes the two quarterbacks, that they want to settle
