00:14Police officers taped off a section of Roseburn Path on Thursday night following an incident.
00:18Officers have launched a major investigation but said there is no risk to the wider public.

00:25Officers are carrying out inquiries in the Roseburn Path area of Edinburgh

00:47Jordan Macmillan was found guilty of culpable and reckless conduct
00:50at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on the 5th of June.
00:54The incident saw police officers and members of the public
00:56bombarded with fireworks and other projectiles on Nidre Mains Road.
01:00Mr Macmillan will be sentenced on Monday the 14th of July.

01:10The Edinburgh Film House is set to reopen this month following a £2 million refurbishment.
01:15The independent cinema on Lothian Road first opened in 1979
01:19and operated for over 40 years before closing in October 2022
01:24following the collapse of Umbrella Company, Centre for the Moving Image.
01:28But following a major refurbishment and campaign to save the venue,
01:32it is now set to reopen on the 27th of June with a fourth screen being added next month.
