00:00Our temple is presently under construction and we want to acknowledge the tremendous support we have received from the Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, the Honorable Farley Chavez Agustin, the URP workers, the National Commission for Self-Help and all our dedicated sponsors who have assisted in donating materials and cash in the construction of our temple.
00:26We are looking at the end of the year for completion of this temple so as time goes by we let you all know.
00:34The Tobago Hindu Society received a deed for four lots of land in Signal Hill from former THA Chief Secretary over London on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014.
00:46The land is located opposite the Scarborough General Hospital.
00:51Also speaking during Indian Arrival Day celebrations in Tobago on Saturday was Assistant Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Niall George.
01:00Although we may vary in ethnicity, in culture and in religion, we understand that it is important for each and every aspect of our society to unite and work together to take our beautiful country forward.
01:16Mr. George said, this country belongs to each and every one of us, where every creed and race finds an equal place.
01:26We are all one Trinidad and Tobago.
01:29The Tobago Hindu Society has kept the torch of culture and tradition burning brightly.
