00:00Hey everyone!

00:01Welcome back to SkillsForge Pro, your favorite spot for quick and easy design tips that make

00:07Today, I'm going to show you how to add a gradient effect to text in Canva.

00:11And yes, it's way simpler than you might think.

00:14Let's jump right in.

00:16So first I've got my Canvas ready.

00:18Now we're heading over to the Apps section.

00:20In the search bar, just type in Gradient.

00:23And the app we want is called Type Gradient.

00:32This is the one that does all the magic.

00:34Once it opens up, go ahead and type in your text.

00:36I'm writing Gradient Text just for this example.

00:46Next up, pick your font.

00:48I'm going with Arena Normal, but of course you can choose whatever fits your style.

00:55Now comes the fun part, choosing your gradient colors.

00:58You can pick two, three, or even more colors by tapping the color bar.

01:03You can also adjust the direction of the gradient manually – horizontal, vertical, diagonal,

01:09whatever looks best for your design.

01:12And boom!

01:13Your custom gradient text is ready to go.

01:16And that's it!
