00:10I'll be showing you step by step two ways to do this, whether you have the free version
00:14or premium version of Canva.

00:25So here we are, as you can see on Canva.
00:28Now what I'm going to do first is add my image.
00:31So I'm going to come over to the menu on the left, click onto uploads and then click the
00:35upload files button.
00:37So what that's going to do is open up the computers file explorer.
00:40And from here we can find the image that we want to cut out.
00:44So you can see I've got this image of this dog and I'm just going to upload this to Canva.
00:48Now once that's done, you're going to see it appear in the upload section and you just want
00:52to click to add this to the image as you can see.
00:55So what you can do is click onto the image and at the top, you're going to see an option
00:59which says BG remover.
01:01If you don't see it here, you can click onto your edit and you should see the BG remover
01:05come up in the toolbar on the left hand side.
01:08Now this is a feature that's available for Canva premium users.
01:12So if you do have Canva pro, you can give it a click.
01:15What it's going to do is scan the image.
01:17And then as you can see, it's going to cut out the image from the background.
01:21Now, if you don't have Canva pro, you just have the free version of Canva.
01:25Another way to do this is to use a website called remove.bg.
01:29So if you come across to this website and once you come across, you're going to see the blue
01:34upload image button, give that a click.
01:36And again, you can use your computer file explorer to upload the image.
01:40What it's going to do is get to work and straight away is going to remove the background.
01:45Once that's done, all you need to do is come and click on to download at the top.
01:48Once that's done, you can go ahead and click on to download.
01:51And then of course, download that image onto your computer without the background.
01:55So that's how to cut out an image in Canva.
