Was Marcos right about the Florida Panthers being more dominant than the Big 3 on ice? The term is catching on now... What are the comparisons and differences between our Cats run versus the Big 3 era?

00:32the big three he goes is this what it was like and i'm like it was different because everybody in the

00:40nation really hated that that heat team but i'll tell you the thing that's a little different about

00:46this team this team went through its pains and they keep adding and getting better gradually right with

00:53the kachuk point the kachuk growth and the kachuk trade is always going to be this line of demarcation

00:58for them the big three it was kind of just like here you have the biggest team and in sports you have

01:06the three guys and we'll keep adding veterans around you right but you're going to be the main course

01:12the thing with the the thing with the big three right pretty much every run that they had had some

01:22type of drama and had some type of like angst i really genuinely feel like the domination we're

01:32watching from this panthers team right now like this run they've had of of road games

01:38i don't remember the big three winning games like that because no especially in the play especially in

01:46the playoffs in the play yeah they have the 27 game win streak the thing with the big three is

01:51there would be games like against the wizards where they like what everybody's doing now with 15

01:55that's very chic now it was very special when you would do it back then and there would genuinely be

02:00games where like the heat would just pull games out of there you know what's and you're just like

02:05man that's talent but in the playoff runs there was a lot of nervous moments like there was chris

02:12bosh there was game two against chicago there was chris bosh going down with injury there was

02:18you know lebron having to go crazy in game six in boston um you had to come back down from the

02:26from the thunder series like all of these things you know all of these things caused a little bit of

02:33nervousness this panthers team is just like every year they've like last year up until they

02:42got to basically infamy where they're like oof this team's coming all the way back that you had

02:47to deal with like all right this is now you're in now you're in it it basically they hadn't been in

02:53the position to be down two games since what this past game when they were down oh two they hadn't

02:57been at that point since the stanley cup final against vegas but you had already done this great

03:02feat because you were an eight seed that got all the way there you came back down three one from boston

03:07so you you dealt with it there and then this thing has been crazy because it felt like every year now

03:15they're just demoralizing teams they don't want to play them right so well i don't think they're

03:22bigger schmiten who's like the big three was global i'm not saying that they're bigger than the the big

03:27three that's that would obviously be wildly stupid but what i'm telling you is the confidence that you

03:33have walking with those guys skating on the ice right now is amongst the most confident i imagine

03:40a sports fan has been down here with any team that has been elite whether it be the big three

03:47or whether that be the oh one canes where you're just like this is a formality they're gonna go put

03:53up they're gonna kick your ass in every which way and the thing that is crazy about it because you

03:57mentioned the fear of hockey is hockey doesn't do blowouts like this very commonly i know and they've

04:03just kicked the teeth in of of their opponents four out of the last five like that's crazy

04:12anyway it's one of those things where the panthers are playing at such a high level right now

04:20nobody they play can match it and no matter how much they try and you can change the game plan you

04:28can change a whole lot of stuff but the fact of the matter is is that you can't do what the panthers do

04:35you can't beat them at their own game your game is based on speed and shots on goal they're not giving

04:43you that space and it's probably really frustrating for a carolina team that's pretty much had their way

04:50all season

04:51dade souse's game five in 2012 was a blowout it was that was an embarrassing one for the thunder

04:58however game four was quite scary because lebron goes out with the cramps and uh you needed wade and

05:05mario chalmers to take home because like lebron hits that big three he can't move anymore and that's

05:12a big seat because two two is a lot different than a being up three one yep so yeah i'm not i'm not

05:18saying they're at they got a first of all they got a repeat to get to the the big three there it's

05:23different though it's different because you're talking about a sport that's worldwide in fact

05:30you know d wade and lebron and china and other parts of the world japan um i'm not even talking about

05:38i'm talking about pure dominance i'm talking about you're you the panthers it feels like now are

05:45getting to a point they're more dominant they're more dominant than the big three it just feels that

05:51way because the big three they're even the championships that they went right even the

05:56championships that the heat the big three went to they never had an easy path like even though they

06:04may have been the one seed probably their easiest path yeah the thing their easiest path was probably

06:09the final year and they got to the big they got to the finals against the spurs the the rematch

06:15against the spurs and it didn't really take until game three where you're like oh the wheels fell off

06:20this team and this team this spurs team is obliterating them like right it kind of just

06:25came out of nowhere because that that run before that what was that that was was it bulls no i think

06:32it was bobcats nets and the pacers who obviously they beat the two previous years they didn't respect

06:38them at all i think that was like the fakest seven game series ever i'm that that felt like very much

06:43like the toronto series where it was like oh this team again but you wanted you like had no fear you

06:48were going to lose that series ever right and it had been three straight years so i think once i think

06:53once the heat got to that year everybody's like there's no shot they're losing up until it got to

06:58the game three um with the year but the other the but those two years where they were trying to win it

07:05you you very much felt like oh they they got to win this you know paul george was coming on and

07:09lebron couldn't figure out roy hibbert for some reason you know like there was always some

07:15weirdness or some injury that came up the panthers have some obstacles but man they're so deep this

07:23this this but that's the thing is like they got to add like they got to add like pieces along the way

07:30like rayon and shane battier that helped but you really needed them because like the first year you

07:34had nobody the panthers were still damn good two years ago and now they're adding seth jones and

07:39marshand and kachuk to make you feel like oh reinhardt's out no bigs which is a crazy thing to

07:47say even though i would please please be okay because i think we need like i think in the west

07:53we would need them i think we could get these two deroy but i think he's you know selkie finalists

07:58we need our we need rhino please be okay oh you better be headed on a swivel dude i swear to god if
