Pompey Talk is back as the countdown to the summer transfer market begins.
In this week's episode, a wide range of subjects are explored as we gather as much information as we can about what the Blues have in mind transfer-wise.
Among the subjects discussed by Mark McMahon and Jordon Cross are: where, geographically, Pompey might see value in the transfer market; lessons that can be learned from last summer's recruitment; and the Bues' transfer budget this year.
Also covered is the main obstacle that stands in the way of Pompey's recruitment team and whether the Blues can sufficiently bolster their transfer kitty by offloading current fringe players of John Mousinho's first-team squad.

00:00This is something we talked about in the press locally, the players thought they've been signed for $80,000 here, a couple of hundred thousand hit there, a Christian Sadie, a Paddy Lane, I think Pompey would be confident of recouping sort of, and you want to show this as a business model that you aren't losing money on these players, but you're right, and they're not going to generate the big bugs.
00:28That was kind of being fated for the model of bringing in Young and developing them, but then Pompey would hope that they have players in the building hopefully now that could do that. Hayden Matthews being one, $1.2 million, early signs, can't judge, it's hard to judge, but etc. Thomas Waddenham, but that's probably Harvey Blair, a long way to go, but I think big seeds on Harvey Blair, we'll see what he can do on that front.
00:54So, yeah, I think these players will move on, just for their opportunities, for Pompey.
