00:00As someone who follows Jesus Christ, it can be said that he probably knew adrenal fatigue
00:09more than anyone because of the pouring out that he would do.
00:13And then he would go up on the mountain to be refueled, to be refired by God, to have
00:18that connection with him.
00:20So he would give out, he'd pour himself out, and then he would go and take back in and
00:25spend all evening with his father in prayer.
00:30And I know that you know that there are times when even the idea of being kind of sequestered
00:37away in prayer, even for a time, can be a thought that just brings exhaustion almost
00:44to you because there's that sense of why bother?
00:48When that feeling starts to creep in, that's when you really recognize like, oh, okay, I
00:55can take this a couple of different ways.
00:57I can either take that nudge to push me into why bother and discouragement, or I can say
01:05there is something for me here.
01:07This season, maybe it doesn't look pretty.
01:10Maybe it isn't overflowing with all of what we would think as human is the goodness of God.
01:18But at the bare minimum, even in the driest of seasons, God is present, he is good, he knows
01:27your struggles, and he is also watching over his word to perform it.
01:34You are part of the word of God.
01:37He is the one who designed you and created you, and he thought you into existence.
01:43There is a purpose for your life, and he is watching you.
01:48You are part of the world.
01:50We are the one who is watching you.
01:54He is a part of the world.
01:54You are the one who is watching you.
