00:0611-month-old Lorenzo Mason was reported missing this morning by his mother Leah Matheson.

00:12Reports are that at around 5.45 a.m., Matheson discovered that her son was missing from the bed.

00:18A report was made to the police and a thorough search of the home and surrounding area,

00:23supported by the K-9 unit, came up empty.

00:25Police got a breakthrough in the case after information revealed that a 29-year-old woman

00:31traveled to Tobago with the baby on Thursday morning.

00:34She was later detained by police.

00:36Officers also arrested a 37-year-old Tobago man who was in the company of the child.

00:42A former national coach was arrested and charged late last evening

00:47with violating a high court-issued protective order granted to his ex-wife and child.

00:52According to senior investigators, the 65-year-old former national coach

00:57violated the protection order on May 12.

01:01Police officers from the Western Division apprehended the alleged offender

01:05at the Mukherapur grounds while he was giving a coaching session on Thursday evening between 5 and 7 p.m.

01:12The football coach was later taken to the Besant Street police station and charged.

01:16His case was scheduled for a virtual court hearing today.

01:19According to sources, the coach violated two earlier protection orders which are currently being probed.

01:27Now to a bizarre story of a man who did not realize that he had been shot while on his way home.

01:34Fareed Mohamed of Rio Claro was riding his bicycle on Thursday night when, according to police,

01:40as he was passing through Union Village, he heard a loud explosion

01:43and immediately felt a burning sensation in his back.

01:48But it was not until the injured Mohamed reached home that he discovered that he had been shot.

01:54He was then rushed to the Mayarul Health Facility and later transferred to the Sangu Grandi Hospital.
