00:00As part of the VE Day commemoration, some of the shops in Monmouth decorated their windows.

00:05Creator Bistro in Monmouth created a wooden scene to make it look like the animals were having a

00:10VE Day celebration. Many of the decorations were made from scratch by using different types of

00:16material like cardboard, expanding foam and paint. The owner's grandma received a letter from George

00:22the 5th which they incorporated in the display. Here you can see the letter and also some of the

00:35animals which were incorporated in the design. Here is another VE Day window display which was by

00:42The Dogs Trust. Here is another window display, this is by Rosser's chemist. Here is another one

00:51of the window displays and most of the photos were captured in Church Street. Here is the last

00:58display which I actually got on camera but there is probably more that you can see now.
