Happy Halloween Monmouth
Transcript
00:00To be continued...
00:30Monmouthshire Hall, once a courthouse and home to the Charters Trials, apparently a judge
00:37still wears his wig and gown, and there's dungeons as well which might bring an eerie
00:42feeling now it's Halloween. Monmouth Castle, which is now a ruin, was once the birthplace
00:47of Henry V, but people still say they still feel an eerie feeling when they visit. The
00:53Queen's Head, which was a pub and coaching inn, is centuries old. Apparently Oliver Cromwell
00:58stayed here during the Civil War and an assassin chased him into the pub and he was shot.
01:04Tintin Abbey was built by Cistercian monks in 1131 and apparently even in summer months
01:10cold winds rushed through the ruins. What do you think? Do you believe any of this could be true?
