00:00Hello, so here we are today, we are in Alexandra Park on this beautiful bank holiday weekend
00:04with a special delivery from Iron Brew.
00:06With their two new flavours, their limited edition flavours for summer, inspired by Scottish mythology.
00:12We have a can of Nectar Nessie Iron Brew Extra, inspired obviously by the Loch Ness Monster.
00:17What that may taste like, that's what we're going to find out.
00:20And then we've got Unicorn Tears flavour. Unicorns are the national animal of Scotland.
00:24It also has a connection to Falkirk, the Kelpies in Falkirk.
00:29Where I'm from, and I was actually one of the first people to ever go to the Kelpies, so...
00:34And I'll be one of the very first people to try this.
00:37There we go. Let's open the box and see what's inside.
00:42The big reveal.
00:44Oh, what a beautiful box.
00:46What have we got here? We've got a can of Ice Cold Unicorn Tears Iron Brew Extra.
00:52And a can of Nessie Nectar.
00:56So I'm going to try both of these and then I'm going to let my cameraman try one.
01:00This is good because we can use it as a wee table.
01:03Recycling.
01:04So, as we see here, it's got a wee lovely picture of Nessie on the can.
01:08Does it give any indication what the flavour is?
01:10I don't know.
01:11Let's try.
01:12Mmm.
01:13It smells like a sweetie.
01:15Mmm.
01:16That's lovely.
01:17It's like tangy, like a chewy sweetie.
01:18With a hint of iron brew.
01:19I'm getting notes of cinnamon, citrus.
01:21Absolutely lovely.
01:22Should we go into the second one now?
01:23Lovely.
01:24So as we can see here, it's got the unicorn on the front, which is modeled after the kelpie.
01:31One kelpie.
01:32Mmm.
01:33Definitely different.
01:34I was quite convinced that they'd be the same thing, just in different packaging, but
01:37they're clearly not.
01:38Oh, that one tastes like sherbet or something.
01:39Oh, that one tastes like sherbet or something.
01:41Oh, I don't know.
01:42I don't know.
01:43I don't know.
01:44I don't know.
01:45I don't know.
01:46I don't know.
01:47I don't know.
01:48I don't know.
01:49I don't know.
01:50I don't know.
01:51I don't know.
01:52I don't know.
01:53I don't know.
01:54I don't know.
01:55I don't know.
01:56I don't know.
01:57I don't know.
01:58I don't know.
01:59I don't know.
02:00Well, I don't know.
02:01I don't know.
02:02I don't know.
02:03But they're clearly not.
02:04Oh, that one tastes like sherbet or something.
02:06Hmm.
02:07They both taste like variations of those sweets you get in the corner shop in your pick and
02:08mix.
02:09I think that one is my favourite to be honest.
02:10Nessie Nectar.
02:11Right, so now the cameraman is going to try.
02:13Bitty Nessie Nectar.
02:14That's a wee bit, like, more lemonade-y to be honest.
02:17I know what the sweetie thing you mean though.
02:18That's like, that's mer-sweeties, that's like bonbons or something.
02:20Blue bonbons.
02:21I'm probably just liking that because it's a blue can.
02:24Not a very good fire in brew.
02:26I'll just take these away.
02:28That's us, that was our taste test.
02:30They're both undeniably iron brew.
02:32Iron brew is at the heart of each of these flavours.
02:35But they both have their own thing going for them.
02:37I think they're both very good, to be honest.
02:38I would drink them both.
02:39My favourite is Nessie Nectar.
02:41It's probably more, yeah, more lemonade-y, more my kind of thing.
02:45That's maybe a bit sweet.
02:46But, no, I loved it.
02:47Thanks for watchin'.
02:48We'll attack that through there.
