6.7 Ford Powerstroke Engine Tear Down. Got a mystery part inside oil pan

00:00We found this in the pan. Little spring. It's got this wire wrapped in it, too.

00:06And for the love of me, I can't think where that's at in that engine.

00:11What year is this truck? 2014.

00:18So, look here. Come in close.

00:23Little spring, and that wire's come somewhere and wrapped that around there.

00:27But anybody got any clue?

00:30Because I'm racking my brain, and I'm thinking,

00:32that definitely don't belong in that engine. I can't think where that'd come from.

00:37A customer had bought this used truck in Texas, was driving it back home to Colorado.

00:41Rod knocked, failed. Got a bunch of garbage in the, you can see, that's all bearing matter in the pan.

00:48In the next video, we'll tear down the engine, and we'll hopefully find where that little spring goes.
