So we have a 2014 335i, which is a fun car, but they all leak at this oil filter housing.

I mean, when they start to leak, it is just a mess, and it makes everything dirty, so

we'll make sure we steam clean that off when we get a part.

It's like a $10 kit for the gasket.

They get hard and they start leaking.

Of course, when you get it off, make sure you inspect the housing to make sure there's

no cracks and the surface isn't messed up.

But you're also going to pull this intake manifold off when you do that.

That is an excellent time, especially if the car's got more than 50,000 miles, and it probably

does because these start to leak at about above that mileage.

You want to check and make sure if you've got intake valve deposit, being a direct injected
00:45
car, it'll have intake valve deposit, which is a great opportunity at that time to walnut
00:50
shell blast those intake valves.
