00:00Hey, it's People N10. Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour kicked off in LA this week with two very
00:09special opening night guests. Yes, that's Blue Ivy rocking out to mom and dad's hit Deja Vu,
00:17which came out a full six years before she was even born. Feel old yet? And for Protector,
00:22both Blue and her little sis Rumi gave B some love, then stayed close on stage throughout
00:27the performance. That led into a rare montage of home videos of Blue, Rumi, and her twin brother,
00:33Sir. I've got my tickets for May and I cannot wait. And Amanda Clutes had a surprise for fans
00:40as she made her red carpet debut with tennis player, Justin Gimelstaub. Look at the smile on
00:45her face. She says her new beau has been absolutely lovely, but they're still in the courting phase,
00:50which Justin jokes he never wants to leave. Now, this is the first time she's gone red carpet
00:55official with anyone since her husband, Nick Cordero, died of COVID-19 complications in July
01:00of 2020, though she has been candid about going on multiple dates since his death.
01:07Bill Belichick's girlfriend is making headlines, trying to get the media to focus on his book
01:12and nothing else. So Jordan Hudson shared a cryptic Instagram with a screenshot of an email,
01:18which appears to be from Bill, who's not happy about how promotion is going for his new memoir.
01:22And you've probably heard about that CBS interview, where Jordan made her voice heard.
01:28How did you guys meet? Not talking about this.
01:31No? No.
01:33Later, she kind of went on a retweeting spree, some more intense than others.
01:37And then Bill entered the chat to defend her for defending him. He basically said he agreed
01:42to do a book-focused interview, and Jordan was just making sure that happened. He also slammed
01:46the false narrative that he thinks the CBS clip portrays, and claimed she was not trying
01:51to control the conversation.
01:54What do Prince William and President Trump have in common? Well, they're both getting
01:57flack for their wardrobe at the Pope's funeral. Both of them ditched the traditional black suit
02:02and paid their respects in blue instead. William was there representing his father, King Charles,
02:07and Trump was, of course, representing the United States. But it turns out they didn't actually
02:12break any protocol. An insider tells people that the Vatican does not list a dress code. They just want
02:17what they call appropriate attire for such a solemn occasion. I guess the boys were fine then.
02:22Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles visited the White House this week to celebrate their February
02:27Super Bowl win. There were a few absentees, including QB Jalen Hurts, but it was a different scene
02:33compared to 2018 when the whole team boycotted the visit. But some things never change. Trump took the
02:39moment this time to take yet another shot at Taylor Swift, reminding everyone that she was at the game,
02:45supporting Kansas City and boyfriend Travis Kelsey. Then he asked, how did that work out?
02:52Fashion's biggest night, the Met Gala is on Monday, and we already can't wait to see all the dramatic
02:57ensembles, the star-studded guest list, and maybe even some red carpet couple debuts. We're going to
03:02break it all down so you know what to expect. Brought to you by Marshalls, which is where I got this
03:08fabulous dress. I love it. All right, time to call, Brittany. Hey, Mako. Hey, girl. Let's talk about
03:15the 2025 Met Gala. What's the theme this year and what does it mean? Yes, the first Monday in May is
03:21almost here, and this year's theme for the Met Gala is super fine tailoring Black style, and it's all
03:26about the evolution of Black style over the centuries and celebrating that, especially like rooted in
03:31dandyism. That's incredible. Who are the co-chairs this year, and what do they actually do?
03:37It's a sexy lineup of men for co-chairs this year. Let me tell you, we have Coleman Domingo,
03:42Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and LeBron James is joining as an honorary chair,
03:47and they host the event alongside Anna Wintour. So the Met Gala, you have to get an invite. It's very
03:52exclusive, and usually that invite comes from Anna Wintour, and the lore has it that she actually
03:57approves outfits for guests as well. If you were going and getting a ticket solo, it's around $75,000
04:03a seat, but usually brands buy a table for $350,000. And then of course, no social media inside,
04:08but sometimes we always hope for that like bathroom selfie moment, right? That's always epic.
04:13I'm here for them breaking the rules. Now, who are you excited to see?
04:17Oh my God, it has to be Rihanna. She's a Met Gala mainstay. A$AP's hosting this year,
04:21so I'm hoping she's there on his arm. What are some looks to beat from previous years?
04:25Oh, well, some looks at Liv Renfri in my headers. 2019, the theme was camp,
04:30and we had that amazing kind of performance from Lady Gaga. She wore layers of Brandon Maxwell
04:36designs. It was like a Russian doll moment. And then of course, over a decade ago, I can't
04:40believe it's been 10 years, Beyonce in that sheer crystal cover Givenchy gown. It was like the naked
04:46dress to launch all naked dresses, and it was amazing. They brought the heat, and you brought
04:50the tea, girl. Well, thank you. I'll talk to you later. Thanks, Mikal. Bye.
04:54All right. Bye.
04:55If you've been online this week, you might be wondering what's going on with JoJo Siwa.
05:00Let's just start at the beginning. So JoJo joined the cast of Celebrity Big Brother UK
05:04while she was in a relationship with Kath Ebbs. But romance rumors between JoJo and her fellow
05:09contestant Chris Hughes kicked off when they were filmed getting, you know, cozy. Now,
05:14Kath recently claimed in Assist deleted TikTok that JoJo dumped them at the show's wrap party.
05:19While JoJo admits that they did break up at the event, she says it wasn't meant to
05:23go down like that. They straight up asked me if I was happy, and I said no.
05:27As for JoJo and Chris, well, they say their relationship is really strong, but platonic.
05:31I'm really grateful for our dynamic that we have and our bond that we have,
05:34and whatever life does, life will do. So, leaving the door open? Got it.
05:40Meghan Markle is bearing it all this week in her makeup-free first ever podcast interview. There were
05:46laughs, some tears, even a mention of Princess Diana. I wish I could have met her.
05:52But one frame had viewers scratching their heads. This photo shows a gift that Meghan dropped up for
05:57her friend Jamie, the podcast host. If you zoom in, thank you, you'll see Meghan signed her card,
06:04Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex. But fans were under the impression that they gave up the HRH
06:09titles when they stepped back from being working royals in 2020. The truth? Well, per the arrangement they
06:14made with Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth at the time, they don't use his or her Royal
06:19Highness in public or for commercial purposes, but they technically do retain those titles.
06:24And in this case, since the note was part of a private, personal gift, not a business move,
06:29that's how it flies. Case closed. It's Thursday. So let's throw it way back with the help of Ed Sheeran.
06:37He's currently promoting his new single, Old Phone, and get this brilliant marketing campaign.
06:42He created an Instagram account dedicated to some of the old snaps taken on his old cell phone.
06:47I mean, look at young Taylor Swift and Benny Blanco. Yup, that's him. I'm feeling so nostalgic
06:53over here. And look at this one. This took me way back. That's Tay Tay with Niall Horne and Louis
06:58Tomlinson, along with Calvin Harris. Yeah, her ex Calvin Harris. Oh, Ed.
07:06And it was a great day for Ellen Pompeo. She got picked,
07:09chosen and loved at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Her famous friends were on hand to
07:14celebrate the big moment, as well as her husband, Chris Ivory. And in a rare move,
07:18two of their three kids. That is so sweet. And of course, Shonda Rhimes was there to give her
07:23Meredith Grey her flowers. Now it's the sit down with Jamie Chung. Hi, Jamie. No spoilers,
07:30but your new movie has a pretty dramatic start. It really explores grief and all of its complexities.
07:35It was lovely to see how someone pulls themselves out of grief or depression or is able to start over
07:45again or, pun intended, is able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
07:51So Jack Houston plays the trumpet in this. Tell us, was that really him?
07:54Yeah, he does. I believe he does play, but also there was a soundtrack, but he's very talented.
08:00I did not even know that it was, like, Jack Houston of, like, the Houston family. I was like,
08:05who? Can we talk about you cute kiddos for a minute? How are you navigating the bittersweet
08:10feelings of watching them leave each phase behind in order to grow and change into the next?
08:15My heart is swelling and, you know, I constantly have to remind myself that this is the golden years.
08:22To be able to experience the world from their eyes at this age is such a treat and delight.
08:28I think, if anything, they've got too many tools and they're totally using that, like,
08:33with reverse psychology, but also, like, you know, as parents and heads of the household,
08:38they're like, mom, are you a little frustrated? Do you need, do you need a timeout? You know?
08:44And I'm just like, yeah, I think I do. Thank you so much.
08:48And let's talk about your husband, Brian Greenberg. Now, you grew up in San Francisco to Korean parents,
08:54and he was raised in conservative Judaism in Nebraska. What are some ways that you integrate
08:58both cultures for the kiddos, if at all? What's really lovely about my relationship with Brian,
09:03and vice versa, I hope, is that we're constantly staying curious. You know, it's like, where are you
09:07from originally? And like, how does that lead you to be the person that you are today? And we do have
09:12very different socioeconomic backgrounds. You know, my background is Korean American, which is Buddhism
09:18and Catholicism, but also, like, Confucianism, right? So it's like, okay, the fundamentals of
09:23respecting your elders, bowing, it's a very different time, but also, like, this is kind of,
09:28like, traditionally and culturally, like, how I was raised. I think it's a, it's sprinkling everything
09:34in, but fundamentally and foundationally, we have the tools that we need to raise socially responsible
09:39people. I love your fashion looks on Insta, always on point. So how does your hubby help behind the
09:46camera? Is he there helping direct at all? No, honey. No, we almost got, like, multiple divorces
09:52from telling him how to take a shot or how to take a video. When it comes to me trying to give
09:58him a note or direct, he just does not engage. Brian is pretty fashionable himself and looking
10:04pretty fine these days in a suit. How did you help him prepare for this iconic role? You know what the
10:10blessing is of one actor working and one actor currently not? Because it's, it's, it's very
10:16tough out there. It's learning to appreciate these opportunities. And lately, because work's been very
10:22tough, I throw myself into his work. And I'm so happy that my partner is working because it's enabled
10:30me to help me use, like, a different part of my brain. I understand. Okay, we're gonna put 10 seconds
10:35on the clock. Promote any one of your projects. Ready? Go. I think it's such a beautifully shot
10:40film. I just, I just think it's pretty rare that you're able to work on an indie film and have
10:45the kind of cinematic shots that we have. Jack Houston, like, really poured himself into this
10:50role. So did Abby Cornish. All the actors were fantastic. I think there's always light at the end
10:56of the tunnel. Jamie, thank you so much for being here. Thank you.
