00:38surprise video he dropped just after Christmas. There's also this mysterious website and headlines

07:04You are currently on Broadway starring an all-out comedy about ambition by Simon Rich

07:12What is something you'll walk away from this specific production that you'll never forget?

07:16The thing that I love about Broadway and theater in general is theater is a community.

07:21The Broadway community definitely feels like a family.

07:24And when you get chosen to be part of a show like this,

07:27especially that we're all only doing like two, three weeks and you bond very fast.

07:33And I was happy to do it because I'm working with people that I've admired from afar

07:39and we've never worked together.

07:41And it's a different conversation when you're around people that you're like,

07:45ooh, I dig you.

07:46And they dig you.

07:47And you're like, okay, well, let's do something.

07:49We are so obsessed with your daughter Miley's TikToks.

07:54What's a piece of advice you've given her about navigating the entertainment industry?

07:58The advice that I've given her is advice that I wish that someone told me when I was starting out.

08:05I wish that someone would have told me, be yourself and stick to that.

08:09Starting off, we're so impressionable and so hungry that so many people want you to be so many things

08:15that it's easy to flip.

08:17Oh, I'll just be this person so I can, because if it means getting in the show, oh, I'll do that.

08:21And maybe I'll sing like this.

08:22Maybe I'll do this stuff that I find funny, even if you don't find it funny.

08:26I tell her, rock with your guns.

08:30She is a writer and a performer.

08:32I say, sweetheart, stick to you.

08:37Almost two years ago, you exclusively came out as pansexual to people mad.

08:42Since then, how has your life changed?

08:44It hasn't changed in the big sense of, oh, I'm out dating and doing whatnot,

08:48because really I'm kind of to myself.

08:50I'm a believer in really trying to help the next generation.

08:54And I think that if there's any little black, brown kid growing up in any hood, any town USA

09:02that feels bad about themselves or ashamed about themselves or less than,

09:08I hope that if they see me and if they're familiar with me, like, oh, that's Wayne.

09:14And he just said, what?

09:16Maybe I can be verbal about myself.

09:19So I don't have to carry that rock.

09:21And that's the way that I feel.

09:24I feel lighter because I'm me.

09:26That lets me be a better actor.

09:28Let's me be a better performer on stage.

09:30It lets me be a better partner to someone someday.
