00:03Hey, it's People in 10.
00:05Blake Lively made a surprise Met Gala appearance just hours after her legal battle against Justin Baldoni settled out of
00:11court.
00:12A smart move, say some experts.
00:14They were set to go to trial later this month over Lively's retaliation claims after her sexual harassment complaint was
00:20already dismissed.
00:21So, Blake got to attend this year's event, which had his fair share of criticism and protests. Yikes!
00:27This time though, Blake brought a token from her kids, which paired perfectly with her archival Atelier Versace gown.
00:34And you know she can work a carpet and match it.
00:38We had a couple of rule breakers at the Met Gala this year.
00:41Beyonce and Nicole Kidman did an incredible job as co-chairs of the event, so I guess they can get
00:46away with bringing their daughters.
00:47Nicole brought 17-year-old Sunday Rose, who had to wake up for school the following morning.
00:52Like, how, girl? And Blue Ivy, who's just 14, made her debut alongside mom and dad.
00:58Apparently, anyone under 18 is not permitted, but that's a little bit flexible if a kid is accompanied with a
01:03parent.
01:04So, all good here.
01:07Kylie Jenner knows a thing or two about taking beauty risks, but she may have gotten more than she bargained
01:12for with her Met Gala look.
01:13She went dramatic, not only in dress, but also in brow.
01:17My brows are ruined.
01:20What is this? What the **** is this?
01:24Okay.
01:25This looks horrible.
01:27After bleaching her face, her team had a hard time getting her back to her normal hue.
01:32Which looked kinda painful, no?
01:34I think if you ask Kylie, though, she'd say it was worth it.
01:37Wonder where her thoughts are on twinning with her sisters in sculpted bodices.
01:41Now, that could be the drama that's not.
01:44We're getting an intimate look into Marilyn Monroe's final days.
01:49Now, the trouble is I always end up back where I started.
01:51The actress gave a final interview to Life Magazine editor Richard Merriman just weeks before her death in the summer
01:57of 1962.
01:58I still can't believe she was only 36 years old.
02:02In this new book, there are exclusive snaps alongside that published interview where the icon reflected on her status in
02:08Hollywood.
02:09She always felt that most people didn't really know her.
02:12And similar to that Misfits line, she said,
02:14That's the trouble. A sex symbol becomes a thing.
02:17I just hate to be a thing.
02:19But Marilyn knew how to play the game and embrace the label in ways.
02:22She explained,
02:23I'm going to be a symbol of something.
02:25I'd rather have it be sex than some of the other things they've got symbols of.
02:29A true treasure she was.
02:32Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are in uncharted territory.
02:35They're now mom and dad to three.
02:37Welcome, Nautis Madden.
02:39Now, we didn't get any snapshots of their new baby boy in line with how the couple previously announced their
02:44son Cardinal and daughter Radix.
02:46But they did share the meaning behind their son's moniker.
02:49The perfect addition to a new family of five.
02:51And nothing makes these hands-on parents happier.
02:54Maybe Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank can get some advice because they're about to welcome their third child.
02:59The couple are already parents to two sons, five-year-old August and two-year-old Ernie,
03:04with their new bundle of joy expected to arrive this summer.
03:07All while Rebel Wilson welcomed her second.
03:10And Beanie Feldstein is just starting her brood.
03:12Congrats, y'all.
03:14Dolly Parton may be struggling health-wise, but she's got a positive outlook.
03:18The country icon announced that she's canceling her Las Vegas residency amid her continued health journey.
03:24It's gonna take me a little while before I'm up to stage performance level,
03:28because some of the meds and treatments make me a little bit swim-headed, as my grandma used to say.
03:36The show was originally set for 2025, but she had to move back to this upcoming September.
03:41But don't fret, you Dolly fans.
03:43The good news is I'm responding really well to meds and treatments, and I'm improving every day.
03:51She's still got some healing to do, but is confident in her medical team.
03:55They assure me that everything I have is treatable.
04:00She'll be back on that stage before you know it.
04:04Britney Spears is looking ahead after her plea deal.
04:06She pled guilty to a wet and reckless connected to her DUI arrest back in March.
04:11Following her sentencing, which includes 12 months probation, one day in jail, credited as time already served.
04:17She also must pay a fine, attend a three-month program, and meet with a psychologist and psychiatrist.
04:22She appears to be putting her energy in a new direction.
04:26This all comes after she left a treatment facility that she voluntarily entered weeks earlier with the support of her
04:32family.
04:32Let's hope this goddess stays on track.
04:35We're rooting for you, Brick Brick.
04:37It was a comeback we'll be talking about for years.
04:40Not only did Golden Temple have a last to first finish at the Kentucky Derby, but his trainer made history.
04:45Or should I say, her story with winning the race.
04:48I consider myself a horse trainer, and I just happen to be a female.
04:53But, you know, it's quite an honor to be the first female trainer to win a Kentucky Derby.
05:01They don't call it the most exciting two minutes in sports for nothing.
05:04I mean, 23 to 1 odds? Epic.
05:07So will Golden Temple pursue a triple crown, entering the Preakness, and then Belmont?
05:11It's up to the horse.
05:13That's the first part.
05:14The horse comes first in any conversation, so he needs to be back healthy.
05:18And then we'll discuss as a group what is best for him.
05:23No matter what they decide, he and his jockey, Jose Ortiz, have already captured all our hearts.
05:30It was a bittersweet moment for a Spirit Airlines pilot who was about to celebrate retirement.
05:35Captain John Jackson was scheduled to fly his last flight into Baltimore on Saturday,
05:39when the airline suddenly ceased all operations after decades of business.
05:44It left passengers scrambling.
05:45And not that he asked for it, but Jackson without a proper send-off.
05:49That's when Southwest Airlines stepped in.
05:51And a video of them showering the longtime pilot with praise went viral.
06:01At least a bit of good news to come from the airlines this week, especially after this.
06:06Now, hands off my snacks, please.
06:09Now it's to sit down with some of the cats from Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
06:12Hi, everyone.
06:14After almost two decades, Jersey Shore is saying goodbye with its final season on MTV.
06:19The show and you have changed so much over the years, but the heart of it since season one has
06:25remained.
06:26Why do you think that is?
06:27We just really became a real family over time.
06:30So in the beginning, we were just our authentic selves.
06:33And you don't really see that on TV a lot.
06:35People usually like faking it for the cameras.
06:37And then when we did family vacation, like we were the same people, except now we're like an actual family.
06:43We go through problems together.
06:44Good times, bad times.
06:46That's what makes me sick.
06:47Because somebody wrote me that note and nobody can open up their mouth.
06:50What were some goals you may have had when you first kicked this thing off back in the day?
06:53I think we just wanted to party at the shore.
06:57Like when we were young.
06:58It was a free house.
06:59I just wanted to pick up girls at the shore.
07:01We were at the shore.
07:02I was going to say we just wanted to party at the shore.
07:04I wanted to be like a local celebrity because my girls would talk to me.
07:08I wanted to be a reality store.
07:09Yeah, me too.
07:10They found me on MySpace, which was crazy.
07:12They literally found me because of who I was.
07:14We were MySpace celebrities.
07:16We were.
07:16So we really wanted.
07:17I was on a lot of top eights to be reality stores.
07:20So looking back now, what's some advice you'd give your season one self?
07:25For me, it would be like, this is a TV show.
07:27Because I didn't know.
07:30Like we thought that we were just going away for the weekend.
07:33And then they kidnapped us for a month.
07:36Like we can't go home.
07:38Season one, I just turned 21.
07:40So I feel like I just wanted to go out there and party and have the best time.
07:46Party's here.
07:47But I'd probably tell myself to stop worrying about boys.
07:50There are so many Juices out there.
07:52I'm in like a kid in a candy shop.
07:54And just like stop.
07:55I'd probably just tell myself to keep going.
07:57Right?
07:58And to never give up on yourself.
07:59Pay your taxes.
08:00That too.
08:01That.
08:03With all you've been through with this show, how would you feel if your kids also wanted
08:07to be on reality TV?
08:08I mean, I always say I'm going to support my kids no matter what.
08:10But I would love for my kids to like not do mommy's job.
08:14Because I know it does have a lot of negatives.
08:16I wouldn't push them in this direction.
08:19Although it's like, you know, without what we were doing, they wouldn't have the lives
08:23that they have.
08:24I would have to really look in to see what this whole thing was about.
08:27Exactly.
08:28No love island.
08:29No.
08:30No.
08:30I'm going to pee on myself.
08:33Maybe all the kids will get together one day and do a little show.
08:36Yeah.
08:37I'll be honest with you.
08:38We'll be chaperones.
08:39I wouldn't mind that either.
08:40Exactly.
08:41I'll be the producer there.
08:42Just like Nicole said.
08:44Absolutely.
08:44We should all be the producer.
08:45Yeah.
08:45Yeah.
08:45When my kids are older, I'm going to say, have fun, but don't have too much fun.
08:50Like, don't act like mommy when she has a lot of drinks.
08:53What's the bitch?
08:55Speaking of changing course, Mike, you've been on quite the journey.
08:58If it wasn't for this show, how do you think your life would have been different?
09:01I'll be honest with you.
09:02I don't know if I can picture myself, you know, not doing the past 17 years, my highs,
09:09my lows, everything sort of led me to where I am right now, where I own my own brand of
09:13treatment centers.
09:14You know, I save lives.
09:17So I don't think I would change a thing.
09:19He was crazy to film with back then.
09:21Yeah.
09:22And now, like, we never would have thought that he'd be the sober, responsible one.
09:27Yeah.
09:27Designated driver.
09:28Great dad.
09:29So what's next?
09:30More GTL?
09:31Gym tannin laundry.
09:33This might be the end for MTV, but that's also a beginning as well.
09:38I couldn't picture this being like it and then never working or filming with my roomies,
09:45my friends again.
09:46Like, I just can't see that because it's been our life for so long.
09:48We're looking forward to that next chapter.
09:50Now we're gonna try our hand maybe at streaming.
09:52You know, maybe we're gonna follow the Kardashian model from, you know, E to Hulu and now from
09:57MTV on to streaming.
09:59No judgment, but it's good TV.
10:01We're gonna keep filming until we go to our nursing home.
10:05You
