00:00Hey, it's People in 10. Things are spicy in the Beckham family right now.
00:07Their eldest, Brooklyn, slammed his parents this week,
00:10and his dad responded. Let's dig right in.
00:16Hey, Dave, what's up? Carly, how is it going?
00:19All right, I need to talk about these Instagram stories heard around the world.
00:23What did Brooklyn Beckham actually say?
00:26What didn't Brooklyn Beckham say?
00:27I just kept tapping and tapping and tapping,
00:30seeing these explosive allegations he's making against his parents,
00:33saying that they've spread countless lies
00:35and tried to sabotage his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
00:38Oh my God, I've got the popcorn ready.
00:40What were the biggest takeaways for you?
00:42Honestly, there was so much, but I can't stop thinking about
00:45his claims about his wedding, which was back in 2022.
00:48He talked about how his mom, Victoria Beckham,
00:51allegedly hijacked his first dance,
00:53which was supposed to be a romantic first dance with his wife, Nicola.
00:56But instead, Mark Anthony, who was the performer at the time,
01:00called up to the stage, the most beautiful woman in the room,
01:02and said, Victoria Beckham.
01:05Oh my God, it's giving monster-in-law.
01:07Yeah, a little bit, a little bit.
01:09A source told people last year that you could basically hear a pin drop
01:13when he said her name.
01:15Praying the video gets released.
01:17David is responding though now, right?
01:19Sort of.
01:20David went on CNBC and talked about a completely unrelated topic,
01:24but he was asked about social media and parenting,
01:26and he basically said that kids need to make their own mistakes
01:29so they can learn from them.
01:30And he did not mention Brooklyn by name,
01:32but the timing is definitely interesting.
01:34I'm so curious what people close to the Beckhams think about all this.
01:37Me too.
01:38There was that woman, Rebecca Luz,
01:39who used to work as David's personal assistant,
01:41and she did once make a claim that she had an affair with David,
01:45which he denied, so take this with a grain of salt.
01:47But she said that she's standing with Brooklyn
01:49and she's really proud of him for finally speaking out.
01:52Oh my God, I need a whole third Netflix documentary
01:54talking all about this.
01:55Oh my God, should we have a watch party?
01:57Yes, and we'll call it End It Like Beckham.
02:00Perfect, I'm in.
02:01Thanks, Carly, love you.
02:03Love you.
02:05Don Lemon isn't backing down.
02:07He was officially put on notice by Trump's Department of Justice,
02:10and they're apparently threatening him
02:12with the Ku Klux Klan Act and the FACE Act.
02:15The outrage began when Don filmed a protest
02:17that disrupted a church service in Minneapolis,
02:20but Don stands by his reporting on the death of Renee Good
02:22and calls the DOJ's threats, quote,
02:24manufactured outrage.
02:26He also points out that he wasn't even the only reporter on the scene,
02:29but that hasn't stopped him from facing hateful slurs
02:31from MAGA supporters, including Nicki Minaj.
02:34So she called Don a homophobic slur
02:36and demanded he be jailed over his coverage.
02:38But Don had a clap back for her too,
02:40telling TMZ,
02:41the rapper just doesn't understand journalism.
02:44Hilary Duff's man is her number one fan.
02:47Matthew Coma fangirled over his wifey
02:50as she kicked off her mini tour in London on Monday.
02:52This was a big deal,
02:54her first time on stage in over 10 years.
02:57She's back!
02:59And she gave the crowd a taste of her upcoming album,
03:02Luck or Something.
03:03But don't worry,
03:04she knows her roots too.
03:05I've been to her that I'm gonna be okay.
03:09He is so proud of his girl,
03:12and so are we.
03:14Turns out the future King of England
03:15doesn't always get his way.
03:17We hear that Prince William will have to give up
03:19one of his hobbies following his family's move
03:22to their forever home, Forest Lodge.
03:24Any guesses?
03:25It's his electric scooter.
03:27Oh, I know.
03:28He previously made headlines for scooting around
03:30to meetings and gatherings.
03:31He's even done it on TV.
03:33This is not what I was expecting.
03:36This is your mode of transportation.
03:38It is right here.
03:39On the grounds?
03:40Yeah.
03:40But now he's gonna have to say goodbye
03:42because Forest Lodge is located inside Wintergrade Park,
03:45which has strict rules against motorized transport.
03:48Heartbreaking.
03:49Meanwhile, his brother is back in the UK
03:51and back in court.
03:52Prince Harry takes the stand on Thursday
03:54against the publishers of the Daily Mail
03:56on allegations of illegal information gathering.
03:58Earlier this week,
03:59Carrie was optimistic saying
04:00the proceedings were going good, very good.
04:04The Fab Five are feeling a little less fabulous
04:07after Karamo Brown skipped two major press appearances
04:10with the rest of the Queer Eye cast.
04:12Instead, he dropped a bombshell.
04:14He's felt, quote,
04:15mentally and emotionally abused for years
04:17and was advised by his therapist to stay home.
04:21I hope everyone remembers to focus on
04:23and to protect their mental health,
04:25peace from people or a world who seek to destroy it,
04:28which is why I can't be there today.
04:30Then NBC played a video message from him
04:33where he thanked everyone from his fans to Netflix,
04:36but not his castmates who seemed shocked by what went down.
04:41The world of fashion lost a titan this week.
04:44Italian designer Valentino Garavani
04:46was a favorite of so many stars on so many red carpets.
04:51And when he died in Rome at the age of 93,
04:53it prompted those celebrities
04:55to share their own experiences of knowing him,
04:57including Gwyneth Paltrow,
04:59who posted a selfie with the style icon
05:01and remembered not only his naughty laugh,
05:04but also the love he had for beauty,
05:06family, friends, and his dogs.
05:10If you were wondering where things stand
05:11between Lori Loughlin and Massimo Giannulli,
05:14you know, after the whole college admissions scandal
05:16and their stints in prison,
05:18well, it's frosty.
05:20A source tells people that Lori is still extremely angry
05:23with her ex.
05:24While another says they've been living separate lives
05:26since people confirmed their split in October,
05:28their marriage just never fully recovered from 2020
05:30when they pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud
05:33to get their daughters into USC under false pretenses.
05:36And she's not the only one who's mad.
05:38Her friends don't like him either,
05:40including this one.
05:41He's a terrible narcissist.
05:43I will never talk to him again.
05:44Damn, tell us how you really feel, Stamos.
05:47As for Massimo,
05:48an insider says he thinks Lori's, quote,
05:50a lovely person,
05:51and he just wants this to be resolved quietly.
05:55It's all about that baby.
05:57Meghan Trainor and her husband, Daryl Sabara,
06:00are now a party of five.
06:02They welcome their third child,
06:03a baby girl named Mikey Moon,
06:05via surrogate over the weekend.
06:07Her older brothers, Riley and Barry,
06:08played an important role
06:10in naming their new little sister.
06:11They picked Mikey's middle name,
06:13and now everybody's over the moon
06:15and in love with their new addition.
06:17Enjoy that family time, Meghan.
06:19Text messages between Taylor Swift
06:21and Blake Lively are coming to light.
06:23Because yeah,
06:24that Justin Baldoni drama is still going on.
06:27It never ends with us.
06:29Messages were unsealed that show
06:31Blake once referred to Justin as, quote,
06:33this doofus director of my movie,
06:34and even a clown.
06:36Okay, girl, go off.
06:37And Tay allegedly called Justin a, quote,
06:39bitch in another exchange.
06:41This was before their friendship began fracturing,
06:43and the messages showed that play out too,
06:46with Blake asking Taylor, quote,
06:47is everything okay?
06:49And Taylor admitting to noticing a shift
06:51in the way Blake talked to her.
06:53Now, this was in early December of 2024,
06:56ahead of that bombshell New York Times article.
06:58We predict a lot more back and forth
07:00before their trial in May.
07:02So buckle up, everyone.
07:03Okay, take it away, Mako.
07:06Now it's a sit down with Gabrielle Union Wade.
07:08Hi, Gabrielle.
07:09We saw you were just in Japan.
07:11How is 2026 treating you so far?
07:14We were in Japan.
07:15Yeah, my husband planned this trip.
07:18I had been gone in Rome filming,
07:21and, you know, my husband planned this whole thing,
07:26which that's not his usual.
07:28So I wasn't sure.
07:29I was just like, you know what?
07:30I'm gonna go with it.
07:31It was like we were just two kids
07:32running around Japan.
07:34And luckily, you know,
07:35we had some friends that were also in town
07:36that we could spend New Year's Eve with.
07:38But it was awesome.
07:39It was kind of life-changing in many ways.
07:43We know you've been experiencing one new thing lately.
07:45I mean, the big N-word, menopause.
07:48What are some ways this new chapter has surprised you?
07:51You know, it challenges you to look at life differently
07:54and not as an ending, but as a beginning.
07:58When you're dealing with, you know, hot flashes,
08:02you know, whether it's the first time or the hundredth,
08:04it is, it, everyone is different.
08:07There are no two that are the same.
08:09Um, it, it, it forces you to shift.
08:12And initially, I felt shame.
08:16I felt like my value as a woman was diminishing.
08:20I felt very isolated.
08:21And over time, now, I feel empowered.
08:24And I'm gonna talk about it.
08:26And there's, and I'm not gonna lose a thing.
08:28You and Duane have been married for almost 12 years.
08:31But tell us something you've only recently learned about your man.
08:35Who knew?
08:35He's, you know, like a full-on photographer.
08:38He developed a passion for photography.
08:41And now he looks like paparazzi when we go anywhere.
08:44He's got, like, four cameras.
08:46Um, and he takes lessons with local photographers in every city
08:52so he can learn from different, you know, pros.
08:55So he must be taking all your Insta photos then.
08:58No.
08:58Um, and that, like, he's shooting buildings, like, architecture very well.
09:02Um, I shoot him like I love him.
09:06You know, I shoot him like I am attracted to him.
09:08He shoots me like he is down for sabotage.
09:12And we're gonna work on this.
09:14Like, baby, that is sabotage.
09:15That is, that is straight double chin.
09:17Like, what are you doing right now?
09:18Bring it up.
09:19We're obsessed with your and your family's advocacy.
09:22You and Dwayne are reshaping history in powerful ways,
09:25especially when it comes to your stepdaughter, Ziya, and her journey.
09:29What is a piece of advice you have for anyone navigating
09:31how to best be there for their children,
09:33especially with the world we're living in today?
09:36As long as you lead with love
09:39and that your child knows that you will be there no matter what,
09:42and we can figure this out together,
09:44and then I'm gonna make mistakes, but please correct me.
09:46Read me for filth, uh, you know,
09:48so I can learn to, to not make the same mistakes more than once.
09:52But as long as you, you start with my child is not disposable,
09:55kind of can't go wrong after that.
09:57Um, and just lead with love and respect.
09:59And your, your child's peace and safety
10:02should be your number one concern,
10:05less with how are the neighbors
10:07or whoever family members going to react.
10:10They should be reacting to the love that you have
10:12and the dedication that you have to your child.
10:14Ziya is now 18 and totally crushing life.
10:19Do you think you'll ever get used to the idea
10:20of a kiddo flying the coop?
10:22You know, cause she's out of state.
10:25And so it's a little nerve wracking, you know,
10:27um, when you're used to,
10:29to being able to sort of track their whereabouts.
10:32She's found other people who are just as
10:36into research and data and astrobiology.
10:41Cause I'm going to say that we probably failed
10:44in that department.
10:45Cause she would say things and we're like,
10:47and I'm just trying to Google under the table.
10:50I have no idea what you're talking about.
10:51She's working with some of the world's leading biologists.
10:53So she's in, she's very, very happy where she's at.
10:57We love that little reunion you had with Kirsten Dunst.
11:01What did you immediately think when you asked to do it?
11:03Well, I got to hang out with her.
11:05Luckily, our kids are around the same age
11:08and they have friends in common.
11:10So it's, it, you know,
11:12motherhood has sort of brought us together
11:14in a different way than, you know,
11:16um, when we shot Bring It On,
11:17she was an actual child and now she's a mom.
11:20Um, and it's funny cause we were talking
11:22about some of her mom's decisions
11:23and, and how she was raised
11:25and what you took and what you left behind.
11:27I don't know.
11:27It's like we're growing up together.
11:29Okay.
11:29To finish up,
11:30we're going to put 10 seconds on the clock.
11:32You can promote anything you want.
11:34Ready, set, go.
11:35Excited to partner with Bear to bring attention
11:38to severe to moderate hot flashes
11:41and that, you know,
11:42encouraging people to talk
11:43to their healthcare providers
11:44so they can figure out
11:45what best options are for them
11:46because there are options.
11:49Gabrielle, thank you so much
11:51for stopping by today.
11:52No, thank you.
11:53I appreciate everything.
