01:10bangs of hunger and it'll manifest here's the other thing my son and I've had to say to him
01:16time and time again when I'm eating because he's he's um he's a very he's affectionate with me
01:21right right the hug and you know all that stuff I do when I'm eating don't touch me yeah don't
01:27touch me at all and like because we sit next to each other at the dinner table and he thinks it's
01:35like huggy like wrestle time and I'm like dude I don't love you I don't love you not right now I don't
01:41love you I don't even want to know you Kathy do you remember the time I was just curious what Casey's
01:46uh uh little protein bar tasted like can I take a bite of that no no I said just tear off an
01:52little crumb for me he says this is all I get I'm not sharing it with you I can't do that man
01:59I offered you a full one I offered you a full bar not that day that day okay I have a box of
02:07I support that yeah a lot of times if I go out if we go out to like and I've done it I love my
02:12wife dearly or as you know I'll just have some of yours no I'm gonna get you a whole I'm gonna get
02:16you a whole lot of it I mean I don't like sharing my food no no no if this turns into a a daily rush
02:23I'm showing the camera the size of this tiny little bar this tiny little 200 calorie bar that I allow
02:29myself for breakfast every day he wanted to take a bite of that I offered him a full one instead and he
02:35said no and then I said no too don't turn this into a I get it yeah he literally you wanted like
02:42a tiny little break of it like not even a bite like a quarter of a bite which would have been
02:46still no a morsel I know that would have been quite case 20 calories if you're allotted 200 but listen
02:52I am I'm very covetous of my own food you're like me I don't want I'm like I like I like put my arms
02:59around the plate I'm like go get your own you know I totally commiserate with that I'll buy you
03:05anything if you want to taste it you I have this and you'd like to try some yeah I'll get you so
03:11if especially if you're looking forward to it sometimes I'll you know okay have a little bit
03:17but for the most part no my buddy Jeff when we go out to dinner we'll ask for bites of my dinner no
03:24all the time no that is not okay ever unless it is your husband or wife or significant other
03:32that you share other things with you should not be sharing your food with people even before the
03:36pandemic Kathy he has food envy he has food regret right he'll order something and then
03:42you know and then he'll go oh man I should have got the yunkey instead you tell me you go straight to
03:47hell and I I help people with their ordering I always say this here's my system Claire will ask me
03:53my wife will ask me what should I what should I get all right assessment hunger level between one
03:58and five five being the most right I'm very hungry then go with something you know you like
04:02yeah okay hunger level 2.5 you can be adventurous right you're not going to get burned but you know
04:09you're going to regret it if you're really hungry you get something that sucks Kathy's motivation though
04:13is different than about not allowing someone to take some from their plate germs it's a gross
04:17but it's weird why would you ask for a bite of my food but you could cut it off and put it on
04:25their plate and no germs have been uh transferred buy buy one of these yourself why would you ordered
04:33what you ordered I'm asking for a bite of your food I win I pay yeah I bought food I actually want
04:39to eat yeah seriously Marissa what's your take on this because you were shaking your head as well
04:43or something she shares all the time she'll share with a whole table of people I hate all of you guys
04:48we can't be friends yeah we can't be friends I literally when I go out to dinner with my friends
04:53the first thing we say is so are we sharing are we getting picky Preston don't you remember the table

05:02of stuff if you do that if that's the agreement at the beginning of the meal absolutely if you're
05:07going like tapas style and that's that's part of the deal you're just going out for like appetizers
05:11not everybody's getting but if everyone gets their own meal I'm not going to be like Marissa
05:15can I taste your vegan whatever you're eating literally every meal we go to everybody's sharing
05:22everything okay no I'm on board with that I like if you've ordered an entree I'm with Kathy a thousand
05:27percent all right back to mental health where we took a little journey there for a moment
