00:00Definitely feels good, I just get in there, try to do my best.
00:08I play well, do what I can do, and thanks God, I'm going well.
00:13I feel so great about it.
00:15How good of an impression do you think you made up there?
00:17I'm not sure, but I think it's something good.
00:23They think about me.
00:25Jason, how important do you think the couple games that you got in school,
00:29summer set last year, and that playoff run will help you going into this year?
00:37Definitely going happy because it's kind of familiar now.
00:42I got the experience, I play like a couple games, and I know how it is,
00:46how it goes, I think it's been great.
00:48It's going to be great.
00:50What did you learn playing the Arizona Fall League?
00:53Just what did you take from that experience?
00:54How did that help your development?
00:58For Arizona Fall League, obviously, there's different players from other organizations,
01:03different teammates, so I can see the difference between every organization,
01:10and that's how you take how they work, how our organization works.
01:15That's the most important part I've learned there.
01:20Everybody has different routines and different stuff.
01:25Do you have any goals for this season?
01:28My goal for this season is just stay healthy, control what I can control, and that's it.
01:35When you see Volpi in the majors at just 21, does that give you more hope that maybe you can get there sooner than maybe you think?
01:44When I see Volpi getting there, I was so happy for him.
01:49Obviously, I see Volpi when I get here, like his progress, but how I said before,
01:56I just focus and control what I can control, and that kind of decision is not on me
02:02because I just focus and do my job, and other things happen.
02:07What was the most important thing you took away from Big League Camp, and what was your relationship like with Harris and Vader?
02:13I saw you guys working on some fields and a lot.
02:16What was the most important thing you could learn from him in the field of training camp with the Grandes Ligas,
02:21and what was the most important thing you could learn from him?
02:27Well, with Vader, I learned a few things in the outfield, like how to get behind the ball, how to get to the spot quickly.
02:34He's a really good outfitter, he's a really good player, and I learned that from him,
02:40and from other guys, just on the whole spring training, I just see how they do or what's their routine,
02:48and learn the good things about everybody on the team.
02:52Have you broken in those new gloves yet?
02:55No, that's not here yet.
02:58After what you did in Big League Spring training, there's a lot of people who think that you're ready for the Major Leagues now,
03:03but obviously you're in AA here, so what do you feel like you need to work on while you're still down here?
03:08I think that there's always a way to improve, and that aparte of the things that I've learned,
03:15the part of the spring training taught me that I have a long way to walk,
03:20that what I know is good, but that there's a lot to learn and a lot to walk.
03:24So what he learned from the Big League is that he got a lot to learn.
03:29He got to keep developing what he need to learn, and he got to keep working,
03:34and he saw that he got a lot, a lot to keep working on, a lot to learn,
03:39so he's going to do it, he's going to start doing that here in Somerset.
03:42Anything specific, though, that maybe he would focus on down here?
03:45How do you think you're better right now than you were last week?
03:58How do you think you're better right now than you were a year ago?
04:00What do you think you're better right now than you were a year ago?
04:06The only thing I feel is better is the experience. The experience has been in the Big League camp
04:13and been here last year at the end, so I feel right now this is nothing new.
04:21This is the same baseball, just being here and playing.
