00:00Let's play Plead the Fifth with Orlando and the Freak Show on Wild 94.1.
00:14In this corner, from Costa Rica, it is the Latin Satin, Navi Rolando.
00:27He ready. He's ready. I like the introduction. Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen.
00:32Satin, Latin.
00:33By the Satin, Latin.
00:34We'll work on that part.
00:38Okay.
00:39All right, so we got three questions that come from the room. It is Plead the Fifth.
00:43We get three questions from you guys. We've shut down his computer.
00:46He has no access to the questions to prepare, so we want to make sure we catch him off guard.
00:51So you can text us, 888-429-0941.
00:54If you've ever had a question you want to ask Davi, especially if we can get him to tap out.
00:58Yeah, I'm committed in tapping out today.
00:59Really?
01:00Yeah, yeah.
01:01You don't want to tell too much?
01:01Ahead of time?
01:02Yeah, ahead of time.
01:04You're feeling it today, okay.
01:06That's Davi's ADD.
01:08All right, so we go in clockwise order. You first.
01:11All right, Davi.
01:11Nasty.
01:12Davi, Davi.
01:13So what you got?
01:14I have reason to believe that you may be the owner of a firearm or two.
01:19Okay.
01:22Maybe.
01:22So with that being said, as everybody knows, there's a lot of mass shootings going around right now.
01:29It's really sad. It's really awful.
01:31If the U.S. government knocked on your door and said, Davi, would you please turn over all your firearms?
01:38I already know what you're going to say, but if they say, will you do it for the kids?
01:43Will you do this to help stop future mass shootings?
01:47Nah, absolutely not.
01:48I don't think that me turning in my firearms would stop any mass shootings because I'm not a mass shooter.
01:55So no, absolutely not.
01:57You'd have to come take it out of my cold, dead head.
02:01Shout out to Charles and Heston.
02:03But it could start with you.
02:05It starts with one person at a time.
02:06Hard no, absolutely not.
02:08Kids got to have somewhere to run when their revolution happens.
02:11They're going to Davi's house.
02:12Yup, and I got multiple in different locations.
02:17Ammo.
02:18Yeah.
02:18Davi wrote them back and said, y'all going to have to come find them.
02:22Yeah, that's a hard no.
02:23All right, Meredith, you're next.
02:25Did you really think he was going to be handing over his game?
02:27Yeah, I tried, man.
02:28Now that we got the DEA's attention.
02:31Oh, I'm sorry, ATF.
02:32Yeah, ATF's attention.
02:33Yeah, all the letters.
02:34All right, Davi, I want to talk about your partner in crime,
02:37your significant other a little bit.
02:39My girl.
02:40Yeah.
02:42I know she would make a guest appearance sooner than later.
02:45You know she would.
02:46Okay, let's talk about that for a second.
02:48So what does she do that annoys you so much that you just want to explode?
02:54However, you look past it because you just love her so much.
02:57Oh, man.
02:59Okay, so it would be an exaggeration to say I want to explode.
03:05It doesn't annoy me that much.
03:07But something that she does that is a little aggravating,
03:11and honestly, it's my fault because I haven't brought it up to her,
03:14is I hate the way she texts.
03:16I hate it.
03:17It's so bad.
03:18It'll be like, hey, baby.
03:20Ding.
03:20How are you?
03:21Ding.
03:21What you doing?
03:22Ding.
03:22You want to do lunch?
03:23It'll be five texts that could have easily just been one.
03:27And I haven't brought it up to her, so it's my bad.
03:31But, yeah, like, stop texting me so much.
03:33This has been bothering you for a while.
03:35It has been.
03:36She shoots you bar for bar.
03:37It is, bro.
03:38I'll look down, and it'll be like 11 missed texts.
03:41I'm so guilty of this.
03:42And I'll think, like, something's wrong.
03:43If somebody texts you eight times, you're like, oh, my gosh,
03:46something's wrong.
03:47But it's just lunch.
03:49What do you want for dinner, honey?
03:50Yeah, it's one of those.
03:52These fries good.
03:52Ding.
03:53So is these nuggets.
03:54Ding.
03:55I think a lot of guys, or I think a lot of people are probably
03:57dealing with that.
03:58Wow.
03:59All right.
03:59Okay.
03:59So I got a question.
04:01I have three of them that I had in my little list here.
04:04That scares me.
04:05And, okay, so, all right.
04:09So, Davi.
04:10What's up?
04:12Crypto has made the news with falling to an all-time low.
04:16Yeah, it did.
04:16Like, there's a lot of people out there who are losing their
04:19business loans and they're calling in margins because the valuations have
04:23gone down now.
04:24So they've lost that security.
04:26You were a big proponent for crypto.
04:29Talked a lot about it to a lot of friends and taught them how to do so.
04:32Absolutely.
04:34Do you feel guilty for being so vocal about crypto and making your money and
04:40getting out and not warning the people who you had get into it before they
04:46lost their money?
04:47And they might be sitting here scrolling on their phone looking at the money
04:50that they're losing all the time when I look on it.
04:52I mean, when they look on here and knowing that you walked them to the cliff
04:57and didn't jump.
04:58Absolutely not.
04:59Not even a little bit.
05:01You don't feel guilty.
05:01Not even a smidge of guilt.
05:04Because when I talk crypto, one of the things that I always say is that it's
05:09incredibly volatile.
05:10That's why I like it.
05:11Because you can win big, you can lose big, and it's a rollercoaster ride.
05:15But the most important thing in investing, regardless of what you're putting
05:19your money in, is doing your due diligence and you have to watch it.
05:23And a lot of the people that lost a lot is because they just left their money
05:27over there and just let it ride.
05:29You have to watch your paper.
05:31We didn't just leave.
05:32I mean, they didn't just leave it, Davi.
05:34They waited for you to tell them what to do since you were the crypto king.
05:38That was one of your first mistakes.
05:40Listening to Davi is your first mistake?
05:42No, not doing your homework.
05:45And one of the reasons why I don't feel bad at all is because, not even a little
05:50bit.
05:50Dude, you were talking to Orlando specifically.
05:53Yeah.
05:54It's because one thing is like, I had a lot of friends that made a lot of cash.
06:00So, for every sob story, there's a big come up.
06:04Rubbing it into the little bit.
06:06I'm just saying.
06:07I mean, that's a little rough right there.
06:08Because I'm like, I'm not one of them.
06:09You got to watch your money.
06:11You got to watch your money.
06:13I mean, you did well.
06:14You started another business.
06:16Yeah.
06:16You just closed on a house.
06:17I put a down payment on my house in Shiba Inu.
06:20You know what I'm saying?
06:21You know?
06:22You did well.
06:23And then you see other people and they're out here like, man, so can I wash your car?
06:27And you're like, you don't feel bad?
06:30Not at all.
06:31And there's still opportunities.
06:33It's buy low, sell high, watch your paper.
06:35And I-
06:36Don't you give any more advice.
06:37Because I'm not doing nothing.
06:39I got my $75 left.
06:42I'm just going to go ahead and write that out.
06:42But you ain't watch it, though.
06:43That's the thing.
06:45Dobby Part 2 coming next.
06:46It's on you.
06:47Dobby's plea to fifth is going on.
06:50And man, he is fearless today.
06:52He is not tapped out.
06:53Yeah.
06:54You asked him, what was the question?
06:56Would he give up his guns to save the churn?
06:59He said he can save the churn by letting it burn.
07:04Meredith asked him-
07:06What you are most annoyed by with your girlfriend.
07:10And he said the ding, ding, ding of texting one line at a time.
07:14Are people agreeing with me?
07:15Yes.
07:16You had a lot of people that agree with you.
07:18But one person out of the 352 says,
07:20Dobby, it's because men don't answer all questions we ask them when we text in a paragraph form.
07:26So we give it to you line by line.
07:28Interesting.
07:28It's because you and your ADD.
07:30I asked him, was he feeling any guilt because he has had financial success with crypto
07:36and he's walked some other people like me to the fence and then just let us just jump off.
07:43And he says, not in the least as my Tesla gas is up by itself.
07:47Okay.
07:49All right.
07:49So now we got three questions coming from the audience.
07:52He still has a pass and a boomerang to use.
07:55Dobby, your first question.
07:57What's up?
07:59Okay.
07:59This says out of the A13, plead the fifth, Dobby.
08:03If you were locked up, would you trust, would you rather have your girl handle your finances
08:11or your business partner handle your finances?
08:14Ooh, my business partner.
08:16Shout out to my boy Dollis.
08:17His name is Dollis.
08:21In our business relationship, he is the more frugal of the two.
08:28Like I'm more like, this is what I want and we're going to get it.
08:32He's more like, yeah, but you know how much that costs.
08:35Joanna, on the other hand, she don't even check price tags straight up.
08:40But this is you locked up and you need the best decision for you to have something when
08:45you come back.
08:45Yeah.
08:46You think it would be best with Dollis because his name is Dollis.
08:49Yeah.
08:50Yeah.
08:50And her name is Baby.
08:52Right.
08:54Yeah.
08:54Yeah.
08:54Definitely Jordan, for sure.
08:56Okay.
08:56All right.
08:57Good question.
08:58Dobby, what is your favorite physical attribute about yourself?
09:04This.
09:05No, no, no.
09:05That is one.
09:09I've always gotten a lot of compliments on my eyes since I was a jit.
09:13Here we go.
09:14I'm just telling you.
09:15You're beautiful.
09:16You're so beautiful.
09:17I have.
09:18With the pretty eyes.
09:19What?
09:20Early.
09:20Since early on.
09:22Since middle school.
09:23Since he was a baby.
09:23What's going on with your eyes?
09:24They green.
09:25They brown.
09:26They're not brown.
09:27I'm looking at you right now, but maybe it's because you got the baseball cap on.
09:30I have green eyes, and it's always gotten me a lot of attention.
09:33Yeah.
09:34So, I would say my eyes.
09:35He is born that way.
09:36Don't be hating.
09:37Whatever.
09:40Are you jealous?
09:41No.
09:42No, I'm not.
09:43With your brown eyes over there.
09:44Whatever.
09:45All right.
09:46Dobby, you have a question out of 315.
09:48I'm cool with it.
09:49It says, Dobby, would you have been comfortable letting Nathaniel buy your drinks for that exchange?
09:57Nah, I don't want another guy buying me drinks.
09:59I don't like anybody buying me stuff.
10:01You let Orlando buy a drink, like if we're going out or something, dinner?
10:06Oh, kind of insists, and it's like a...
10:09I don't insist.
10:12You can't speak for me.
10:14I did not insist.
10:15No, I mean, you know, I'll pick up a tab or whatever.
10:18And Dobby always tries to chip in.
10:20He's like, hey, man, let me throw down.
10:21I'm like, nah, man, it's all good.
10:23Don't worry about it.
10:23Yeah.
10:24And he just like leaves it alone.
10:25And honestly, to keep it 100, it wouldn't even have been a gay thing.
10:29It would have just been more like a man thing.
10:31Like, yo, it's like a pride thing.
10:33Like, I can pay for my own drinks.
10:35I appreciate it.
10:36But I can pay for my own stuff.
10:37Yeah, I mean, and I think, honestly, the new thing was the fact that it was, you know,
10:41I say lettery, but the person who you could tell, he was saucy.
10:46And I'm not used to anybody buying me anything in my whole life.
10:49So it's a little off-putting.
10:51You should try it sometime.
10:52It's fun.
10:53You know what?
10:54Maybe I will.
10:55I mean, maybe I got two in my own head.
10:57Yeah.
10:57All right, whatever.
10:58I'm more of a swiper.
10:58I got it.
10:59I'll swipe.
11:00We good.
11:01Somebody text maybe I should have bought his and said, no, no, let me take care of yours.
11:04But then that would have sent the wrong thing.
11:05Yeah, he was hitting on you, though.
11:06That would have sent the wrong thing.
11:08Like, yo, I was receiving it.
11:09Yeah.
11:09So, yeah.
11:10I don't want to receive it.
11:12I don't want to receive nothing.
11:13I mean, the message.
11:15The message.
11:16I was receiving what he was throwing.
11:18Wait a minute.
11:19I did not want what he was throwing.
11:21I did not.
11:21All right.
11:22So you get a boomerang now.
11:23You have not tapped out on anything.
11:26Okay.
11:26So I was supposed to tap out, too.
11:28Yeah, you were.
11:29But you didn't.
11:30Maybe next time.
11:31I'm going to go with Meredith's question about the most annoying thing about your significant other.
11:37And if you're not in a relationship, we could talk about a previous relationship.
11:42Okay.
11:42Buck.
11:43You better start thinking.
11:44He lost it that one out there for me.
11:46He was like, and if you ain't got no buck.
11:50Orlando.
11:51You can go in the past.
11:54Yeah.
11:54Who were you speaking to specifically?
11:56That was to me.
11:57That was to me.
11:59Oh, man.
12:00And what do you got?
12:02Anthony is micromanaging currently, like, what I can buy for the house and furniture and even, like, artwork.
12:09And, like, even me going to HomeGoods and even a plant that I buy.
12:12Like, he's, like, all wants to be hands-on with.
12:14Let me do it.
12:16I'll check with you.
12:17You see what we both like.
12:18I'm not going to buy something crazy.
12:20Back off.
12:21A price thing or, like, a taste type thing?
12:23It's both.
12:24It's both.
12:25He doesn't trust you at all.
12:26I want you to mess up.
12:28That man got a new house.
12:29He got a new vision for it.
12:30I know.
12:30He does.
12:31He's probably taking it a whole different way.
12:33Like, a helicopter parent.
12:35He's, like, hella on top of me right now.
12:37I know you.
12:38Your last house, you did, like, a puffball kind of look.
12:41A puffball?
12:42Like, you had a lot of white fluff.
12:43It was pretty.
12:44It looked great.
12:45It was beautiful.
12:46He said, okay, we did that.
12:47Yeah.
12:48We don't do that at all.
12:49Yes.
12:50That's actually true.
12:51And I'm not decorating it like the last house, I swear.
12:53But, man, he won't back up.
12:54I can relate to both things.
12:56The text messages, the you going crazy at the store.
12:59My wife does that with Amazon.
13:00I'm, like, every day.
13:01I'm, like, oh, my God.
13:03But what annoys me the most is my wife and my son begged for a puppy for Christmas.
13:09They begged and they begged.
13:11And I said no for so long.
13:13Finally, I gave in.
13:14And I said, with one rule, you take care of it.
13:17I got nothing to do with it.
13:19I don't want to feed it.
13:20I don't want to walk it.
13:21I don't want to bathe it.
13:22Nothing.
13:22So what do you think happens?
13:24What do you think I do all day?
13:25You're best friends with the dog.
13:26Yeah.
13:27It's me and him, basically.
13:29Annoying.
13:30Y'all hang out, partners.
13:32Yes.
13:32We watch movies together.
13:35Let's see.
13:36The funny thing, the only relationship that I have is the relationship that I left.
13:41Because we still have to deal with each other because of the kids.
13:45And this weekend was the quintessential reminder of why we hate each other.
13:51Okay.
13:52So once again, and it's like weekly.
13:57Now, it's like once again, she didn't let me know something.
14:02Y'all have heard me, bitch, about where I have surprises.
14:04Yeah.
14:04Like, ooh, you got to fly to North Carolina.
14:07I'm like, I just landed.
14:08All right.
14:08I'm going back.
14:09So I get to find out things as they're in process.
14:11So Saturday morning.
14:14In real time.
14:14In real time.
14:16My children are sleeping.
14:18We have, I've just flown back from North Carolina getting my youngin'.
14:22Yeah.
14:22So this is our first day together.
14:24So I got up early, came to the station to do my voice track.
14:28So I'm up here like nine o'clock in the morning, knocking them out before they run.
14:32Okay.
14:32On your day off.
14:33On my day off.
14:34But it's whatever.
14:35I'm doing what I do.
14:36Because I've ordered my kids breakfast.
14:37They're dropping off their chocolate-covered pancakes and omelets and blah, blah, blah.
14:42I'm like, when I get back, I'm going to wake them up.
14:43We're going to have a big breakfast.
14:44It's going to be part start of Daddy Day, you know, celebration.
14:48I get a call while I'm up here recording.
14:51Are you at the house?
14:52And I'm like, huh?
14:54What do you mean?
14:55She's like, their cousin's birthday is this morning.
14:58And they have to go to a birthday party.
14:59And they're not answering the phones.
15:01I'm like, because they're sleeping.
15:03And I'm like, did they know?
15:04She's like, I told them.
15:05I'm like, oh, my God.
15:06So I'm like, all right.
15:07I finish up.
15:08I go home.
15:09She's outside the house.
15:10They're upstairs.
15:11You're waking up like, I didn't even know there was a birthday.
15:14And I'm like, all right.
15:15So again, that was the last minute rush that everybody had to rush around because Mommy didn't tap us in.
15:20I got you.
15:21So, yes, that was my thing.
15:23Oh, wow.
15:23That was a quick, did you go to the birthday party?
15:25I did not, but they did.
15:26And I stood outside the house.
15:27I was like, this could go better.
15:30I'm like, you could tell me these things.
15:31And then I could remind them.
15:33And then I could say, hey, you guys got to be up by a certain time.
15:35Yeah, set an alarm.
15:37She was like, OK, I'll tell you.
15:38I couldn't take that, man.
15:39I couldn't take that.
15:40I'd lose my.
15:41When she said, I'll tell you next time, I just looked at her.
15:44I was like, she said that the last time.
15:47And I just walked away.
15:48All right, so that's the wrap.
15:49This is next time.
15:49Yeah, this is the next time right here.
15:51So, yeah, that's it.
15:53Davi has officially made it through and did not tap out again.
15:58It's over.
15:58Plead to Fifth is a wrap.
15:59We got more coming up because you're 15 minutes away from passing gas.
16:02Let's go.
16:03Oh, yeah.
16:03So...
16:03That's cool.
16:03All right.
