00:00It's Jeff and Amy in the morning, 1027 Coyote Country, and we are with the Dimmick family, with Jennifer, we've got Hope, and Michael, they are finalists for our Bless You with the Baby.
00:10Yes, we're so excited for you guys. We loved your letter, Jennifer, so much. You've already made us cry. I mean, we've gotten hundreds of letters, and we had to try our hardest to narrow it down, so it's been an emotional couple weeks for us already.
00:25But I will say of our finalists, you are, don't cry already, Jennifer, I'm looking at your face, you're crying, I'm just kidding.
00:33You're the only one of our finalists that was somebody writing who was not one of the two members of the couple, and that was really impactful.
00:40Now, we did have a number of people who wrote in on behalf of people, but I just felt, you could read in Jennifer's letter, and you'll hear it in a minute, the love that you have not only for your son, but also for your daughter-in-law.
00:51And I think that's super powerful, because not everybody has an amazing relationship with their in-laws, either way.
00:59And so I think it's incredible that you took the time to write this.
01:01Now, Michael and Hope, have you guys heard this before?
01:06I had no idea she did this for us.
01:08Oh, well, she took the time to write a beautiful letter, and Jennifer, we're going to have you read that letter.
01:15You have the stage.
01:15Hi, my name is Jennifer Dimmick, and my daughter-in-law is Hope Richardson Dimmick.
01:23She has always wanted to be a mom.
01:26She has always talked about being a mom since her and my son started dating.
01:32My son is a metro officer, and Hope works with pregnant women all day long as a nurse.
01:38Hope has found out she has endometriosis.
01:41It seems she does not, it seems that she does not ovulate, and she was on Clomid.
01:51Through all of this, the two of them have been positive.
01:56They have, they had an appointment scheduled for a fertility doctor, and were called the night before,
02:02saying the insurance they both had did not cover anything.
02:06They both cried their eyes out that evening.
02:12Hope shared that with me the next morning.
02:16How could a nurse and a cop not have any insurance that would cover this?
02:22They were heartbroken.
02:24My son said he was going to sell his brand new truck, and they were thinking of ways to tighten their belt.
02:32So, the bottom line is, they would make great parents, and they both would love to have a baby of their own.
02:42I am Michael Dimmick's mom, and it would be a blessing to have my son and Hope picked.
02:49We have talked as a family, and I've heard about the blessed with a baby earlier this morning.
02:56I pray this might just be the answer they need.
03:03Please help my daughter-in-law and son, Michael and Hope Dimmick.
03:07Thank you, Coyote Country.
03:09We love the country music you play every day.
03:13Wow.
03:14That was, that was amazing.
03:21You did an amazing job.
03:23The writing, the reading, I know it's not easy to, you know, for the two of you and the journey you've been through,
03:31and as, you know, the mother-in-law and mother, you know, all you want for these kids is what you had.
03:39Yep.
03:39And so many people, what we've learned, Amy and I, and our entire staff has been so impacted by this entire,
03:48if you want to call it promotion, I call it life-changing, you know, contest, whatever.
03:53We've learned that this is very common, unfortunately.
03:57Yes.
03:58And some people, it's easier than others.
04:01But for a lot of people, they have stories like yours.
