00:00Uh, Coop, we're very gassy this morning. Is that, uh, your understanding?
00:04Yeah, it smells really bad in here.
00:07We're taking calls on the gas issue, and there shouldn't be a shortage here in Florida, but people are hoarding.
00:13Right back to the phones. Thank you, everybody, for hanging.
00:16Leona's in Wesley Chapel. We're asking the question, tell us your gas story.
00:22Trying to fill up, are you getting gas, are you seeing empty pumps?
00:25It's 800-990-1047. Leona, you're on the MJ Morning Show, Wesley Chapel. Hi.
00:31Hi, good morning. I got gas at the Wesley Chapel Wawa on 54, and they only had the high octane, the 93.
00:39Yeah, and, you know, the price spread, like, starting, like, 10 years ago, the price spread between the grades,
00:45it used to be, like, 8 to 10 cents a gallon in between grades, and then suddenly, I've seen price spreads
00:51from regular unleaded to the high octane, the 93 premium, like 60 cents a gallon, which is just,
00:57it's robbery, and it's ridiculous.
00:59Leona, thanks for the call, and thanks for listening to the MJ Morning Show.
01:02Yes, have a good day.
01:03You too. Harry's in St. Pete. Hello, Harry. You're on the MJ Morning Show. Hi.
01:08Hey, good morning. Thank you, guys. I love your show.
01:11I'm a delivery driver, and I can't get gas anywhere in St. Pete.
01:16I'm in, like, the downtown St. Pete area, and I deliver everything from food to auto parts.
01:22Two days ago, I delivered a prosthetic leg.
01:26I can't get gas to go to work.
01:27That's great. Stumpy the lucky leg.
01:30You know what, Fester? I'm sending you out, and then I'm sending you out in your 2004 Lincoln Town Car.
01:35How the hell you are, dude? That gets, like, 15 miles a gallon.
01:39He won't make it to work tomorrow.
01:40I'm going to have you drive down 4th Street here. There's a ton of gas stations.
01:44I want to get live reports from you, Fester.
01:46Hey, Harry, thanks for the call. Good luck. I appreciate it.
01:49Good luck with leg deliveries.
01:50Let's grab Orlando and Spring Hill.
01:52Hey, Orlando, you're on the MJ Morning Show. Hi.
01:55Good morning, guys. I love having you guys back after so many years.
01:58You guys are awesome.
02:00Thank you, Orlando.
02:00I'm a delivery driver, and I drive all the way to Tallahassee from Spring Hill.
02:05And yesterday, I was on US-19 up in Ingalls.
02:08And after finding seven gas stations with red bags, no gas and no diesel, because I'm in an F-650, and I can't find diesel.
02:17And just no gas whatsoever until I came across a Wawa in Crystal River that actually had gas.
02:25All right. And again, we're hearing these stories, and there's no reason Florida did not get gas from the pipeline.
02:31The pipeline started running again yesterday.
02:33It'll take a few days for the southeast to get, you know, restocked with gas products.
02:38But here in Florida, we don't get gas from the pipeline.
02:41There's been no interruption with our tankers coming in from the Gulf Coast.
02:46It's just people are hoarding.
02:48People are all rushing at the same time.
02:50Thanks for the call.
02:50Well, let's grab, oh, here's a good report.

03:24They just had grocery bags over the pump handles.
03:29And yesterday, I was in Palm Harbor, and I seen two gas stations.
03:33They were all full of people getting gas.
03:35And then at Sam's Club last night, there was lines of gas, people getting gas.

04:06The only area that I had an issue was in the villages.
04:09Oh, wait a minute.
04:10Did you say, did you say the villages?
04:15The villages where they don't even drive their cars.
04:18They only drive golf carts.
04:20Whoa, the villages.
04:22You couldn't even get into the gas station.
04:25And then you couldn't get out because they were coming in through both lanes, coming in through the out lane.
04:31All right.
