00:00Hi, in this video we are going to go over how you can establish relationships between an advertiser and an agency so that from any of those accounts you can quickly at a glance see the existing relationships that are there and potentially leverage those relationships in the future.
00:24So the real advantage of establishing this relationship between an agency and an advertiser or the other way around is because it allows you to have a 360 degree view of any advertisers which have been linked to agencies and vice versa.
00:44So jumping into Salesforce let's see how this works in practice.
00:50So as you can see I am within an account record the account is fast cars and it is an advertiser.
01:00I have some information filled in when I created the account or maybe I learned some things as I kept working on it and fill those in.
01:09So at this point I know that there is an agency associated with this advertiser who I am working with as well.
01:18So at this point I need to establish that relationship so that it is secured and sort of established right there and there within the system.
01:27Within the account record itself you will see some sub tabs.
01:32The details is the automatic default sub tab that you are located in when you first click into a record.
01:39However, the next sub tab is where we will have to draw our focus to for this video.
01:47So if I click on what you see agency landscape I'll be brought to a screen which looks like this.
01:56Now if I want to add an agency it has to already exist in Salesforce and then I can select from the drop down that I see or I can choose to type it in and it will automatically pull that up to view for me.
02:12Let's say OMD worldwide is the agency that works with fast cars and I've already created that in the system or it exists.
02:21So now I can select that and as soon as I do that it will automatically pick the role as the agency and I can select the type of agency if I know that as well.
02:33So let's say it's social.
02:36In the next box that you see here it refers to the agency of record just signifying if it is the primary agency associated with this advertiser.
02:47So I'm going to leave this unchecked for now and just click add.
02:52So just make sure you have to click add before you can go on to save the record.
02:58I've added it and then I can click save.
03:02So if I refresh the page and go to the agency landscape I can now see OMD is listed as an agency for fast cars the advertiser.
03:17So this relationship works both ways as I mentioned before so let's go ahead and see what this looks like.
03:24If I click into OMD the agency account and go to the agency landscape from that record page I can see all the advertisers listed for it.
03:36Now we've created some before so you see a couple that already exist but the fast cars has automatically been added on this side and the role has also already been selected as the advertiser.
03:49So you can already get a sense for how this builds value for reps in order for you to know the relationships that have existed or just at a quick glance see what those relationships are and why you need to build those up to really leverage the data in Salesforce effectively.
04:11That's all there is to this hope this was helpful.
04:15That's all it's helpful.
04:16That's all that's helpful.
04:17That's kind of, that's what I wanted to say about most of this fact so hopefully,
04:18that's what I wanted to tell everybody about shortly after this time actually P bull
