00:17honored to be here with you today yes i'm honored to have you thank you i am dr sonia weaver

00:23one of the proud co-founders of linked and i amongst other things i just love the what we do
00:31here at linked and how it connects people and bring them together and i get to do this amazing
00:36business with my sister friend yes and hello as well it is such a pleasure to be here today
00:42i am cassandra mcafee and absolutely love being a part of linked with my co-owner as well together
00:50we share a shared vision and we love what we do i love it and i heard that every piece
00:57is designed
00:58to empower women celebrate individuals and move with move with you through every season of life
01:04i love that so you know we want to go into it like linked is about confidence connection what inspired
01:11linked and why what does it represent to you personally the inspiration actually came from
01:17my one of my other businesses where i help black businesses and i was in prayer for my friend cassandra
01:26who is an amazing jeweler and has a business yes and so i wanted to be able to to do
01:32something to tell
01:33her something to motivate her or something so i was in prayer and i was like god what can i
01:37do
01:38because i really want her to be able to you know get away from her nine to five which causes
01:43her stress
01:44etc and then i said god if you got something for me too you know i'm willing as well so
01:49you know
01:50i and i literally jumped in the shower and soon as the water rained down on me i saw just
01:56vision
01:57of of of link they didn't have a name i just saw it and i got so excited from what
02:03i seen and where it
02:04was going all in this split second and when i you know told cassandra the second time always that's an
02:10inside joke when i told her the second time she got just as excited and that was in 2019
02:16and we sat there that day and we began mapping out the concept and we've been going ever since
02:22yes i love that that's beautiful yes and during a hard time the pandemic yes yes yes yes yes
02:29inspiration rise i'm telling you i love that i love that and that's what kept us going because i say
02:34is no way that god gave me this vision as strong as he did and we just took off the
02:40way we did
02:40for a pandemic to stop it you know so that we pushed through it and actually we came up with
02:47a good
02:47virtual option that still is available where we start shipping supplies so you know linked is about
02:54connection and it was meant to happen i love that and then it's just a way for women to feel
02:58beautiful empowered confident and you felt this in the shower i know that's right i know and then
03:03can you imagine just for me you know being that friend she was praying for yes to come up with
03:08such
03:08a concept and praying for me and so you know that has just always been a blessing to have a
03:13friend like
03:14sonia um that she cares so much and so the business that she refers to is radiant jewels and radiant
03:21jewels
03:21is a dedication to my one and only son roderick moses jr i lost rj back in 2006 and so
03:30um you know
03:32i started radiant jewels as a way of sharing the jewelry with the world as well as um that was
03:39my
03:39way of showing love for rj because radiant jewels is aka rj so i got a chance to share um
03:46rj with the
03:47world through my love of jewelry i love and so with that um sonia got a chance to see some
03:52of radiant
03:52jewels and she's like you gotta be doing more with this be doing more with this and you know life
03:58right
03:58life yes busy schedules you know marriage all of that family and it's just where do i get time to
04:05do
04:05this so thank god i have a praying friend um and we've been able to manifest through those prayers
04:12that we are here now with our business linked that's beautiful i love it i love it mainly because
04:19of how passionate you both talk about it i mean it's just oh it's gonna give me a little chills
04:24going down i love that and i just it's inspiring truly it is and i just love that you can
04:29make jewelry
04:29that can inspire the next woman you know what i'm saying and make them feel good and make them feel
04:34how you both feel yes that's a beautiful thing i love it and i love that linked empowers entire
04:40families now oh yeah i would love you guys tell me the opportunities that you create
04:44not just for the women but for the husbands and the children to create
04:50please tell me well for me i would like to share then a few of our testimonies from events that
04:56just
04:56did that um that come that resonate with me so the empowerment first and foremost just so you know
05:03cassandra and i met through ministry and so even though linked is a business it is considered our
05:08ministry we approach it as such and we don't take for granted when people open up their intimate
05:14spaces to allow us to be a part of it to get their family their friends those closest to them
05:19linked
05:19um so we've had events where like remembrance events that we do for people who lose a loved one
05:26and someone you know contacted us let us know that their cousins hadn't spoke since the person
05:32uh was deceased and so but when that space and they saw each other they immediately embraced and
05:39hugged and forgot about the pettiness of whatever it was that had kept them apart for so long
05:44so during those kind of events you can get healing you you get a new found relationships that you know
05:51new stories that are inspired you know we had people a person contact us who had ms and her medications
05:58had her having tremors with her hand and i had to stop myself like three times i remember this
06:04because beads kept falling and she was trying to beat it yes but my spirit said leave her alone leave
06:09her alone but you know we like to help so i'm like i want to help and the spirit's like
06:14leave her alone
06:14and i'm glad i listened because she she was like you know i'm not taking this bracelet off because
06:20it has given me the power to know that this disease is not going to have the best of me
06:26because i was able
06:27to do this on my own and complete it and she completed it and she completed it and we actually
06:32ran into her a few months ago and we were like okay she said no i still have my bracelet
06:38and she had it
06:40on and cassandra's like i think it's time for you to get re-linked to like freshen it up and
06:44she was
06:44like oh no she didn't want to take it apart she loved that bracelet right so it's just something more
06:51like we say it's more than just a bracelet it's just that that tangible thing that you've made that
06:57connection when you start talking about you know families we've had daddy daughter events the dad
07:02and the daughter you know these little stories that they now have this little piece of jewelry
07:07that has connected them in that moment to go and leave with you know we've have linkedin love where
07:13couples come out and they share their love story and and you get inspired by hearing these other
07:18stories some people you know might be on the verge of ending their relationship but when you're
07:23surrounded in that energy of love you might think again and now you got this new thing to commit to
07:28that you know this little piece of jewelry and so it's it's with those things i know when my husband
07:34he attended uh a couple of linkedin love events but when we went out he actually put his bracelet on
07:40i'm like oh you weird he was like no i love my bracelet so even the men love it yes
07:46and that was one
07:47thing that inspired me because my husband as well he wears those bracelets all the time so i started
07:53paying attention to we gotta train i'm like sonia we need to include some men's to the men bees too
08:00and so when we came up with linkedin love oh my god it's just so awesome lori to see the
08:05men i mean
08:06they just be so into it you should see them as they're going around trying to pick out what bees
08:11they want and you know they're very proud of their bracelets and that's right um it's just it's always
08:17just a great moment to see the reactions and you know once we once i tie them off um and
08:24give them
08:24back to them and they put them on it's just you know just to walk away with that memorable experience
08:29and event that they just completed that bracelet it is just really cool like on a man's end it's cool
08:34i love that i'm just i love it i gotta i might have to get some for my man because
08:39he loves
08:39he's like he loves bracelets oh i know me and i'm really into them now they're all into it he
08:44gets
08:44them off on amazon yes we just had an event um just last weekend and that was so awesome so
08:51um we did it we were on a podcast last week and so one of the questions was asked at
08:56the end of the
08:57podcast um is we we kind of shared what we were there to do um and so at the one
09:05of the um guests
09:06asked well do you have bees for men i was like yes we do not only do we just we
09:12have a variety of um
09:14bees for men and so that young man came and i'm when i tell you he had an awesome time
09:20and he went online too he was showing his his boys his bracelet what he created and it was just
09:26so cool i think he put a crown on there like you know you're a young king yeah yeah that's
09:33how you do
09:33it and so you know it's just you know whatever the occasion is whatever you coming with you know
09:41we are able to accommodate oh i love that all the way around and that's that's special because
09:46sometimes you only have certain places that only have either one type of thing you didn't get one
09:51thing or the other but the fact that you have a variety and then it's open for children and men
09:56women i mean i love it as a way you can express yourself and that's what really really just stands
10:02out to me and one of the other questions that i have is that for the women listening right now
10:08who's stepping into their next chapter why is linked the piece that she should carry with
10:14okay well what came to me when you said that yes is what is on my wrist which is my

10:23vision bracelet and that was our brainchild really of us working together i thought about
10:30vision bracelets and cassandra took it to the next step of having it as a i am bracelet of empowerment
10:36so for me right now when i look down at my wrist talk about it sonia i am i am
10:41what what are you
10:42talk about that yes let's go to give us a little blink when i look down for this year
10:48is my bracelet is anchored around peace and so when i look at this i'm walking around and i know
10:54i have
10:55peace and if i forget it i can be reminded but then i have you know my heel where i'm
11:00stepping in
11:01with a different attitude in 2026 i got my airplane where i'm gonna be traveling expense pay okay
11:11my money bag where i know money is coming and eat to me easily so when i say about empowerment
11:18again
11:19this is you don't you know this is just one of the type of bracelets i have another one on
11:23this wrist
11:24because i'm part of a book anthology so reminds me that i'm unleashed that i'm a queen that i've shared
11:30my story that i have let the chains go that was binding me yeah so literally it's beautiful don't
11:37get it twisted right oh yes but it's impactful it's impossible it's more than just going to a store
11:44and buying a beautiful piece of jewelry because you have created it with your essence behind it
11:49so when you're wearing it it's it's something more it transforms into something more but the i am
11:55i have to let you share because you came up with that yes please so yeah so as you see
12:00loy so as
12:00the years have gone on since 2019 every year we come up with something more and me and sonia use
12:06a
12:06lot of these experiences through our own lives right because i mean we're living it right yes ma'am and
12:11so
12:11this particular year um when sonia came like because we were talking about a vision board
12:16and she said well what you think about a vision bracelet and oh my god that's all she got to
12:20do
12:20is give me that is such a good idea with it right i went out i started finding all kind
12:26of charms you
12:27know yes um faith-based blessed enough beautiful i mean just whatever self self-confidence faithfulness
12:37i came up with i seen all these beads but it's this particular night i was at home creating it
12:43because generally what i do is i create a bracelet to kind of get a ladies an idea what your
12:48bracelet
12:49can be but you could change it but that's what's unique about linked you know you can follow the
12:53pattern that i provide or you can switch it up right because it's your creativity and so that's one thing
13:00we love about linked just seeing all the different creativities that come through with the finished
13:04bracelet but um this particular evening i came up with i am enough oh my god so my bracelet was
13:13i am enough that's powerful i am beautiful and i am loved and i needed that at that season right
13:20just to remind me and so yeah that that year that bracelet really took off that i am bracelet
13:26and it was doing february um two um it was i i think we had the vision event in january
13:34but february we did
13:35i am and just you know in celebration of black history month i was just about the same right
13:41oh yeah so it was just awesome and we had an event we let the ladies choose well in january
13:47we did the
13:48vision bracelet but this month we're celebrating black history just reminding you i am and that's
13:53what they did they everybody walked away with an i am bracelet so that was kind of awesome it was
13:58a good
13:59feeling for me because it's not just like sonia keeps saying it's not just jury it's the impact
14:05behind it and we pride ourselves in just knowing that we've touched so many different women and ways
14:12where they can look down at their bracelet and remember what that event was and what empowerment
14:18it gives to them oh i'm so thankful and i know that's why you guys stay busy in books because
14:23you
14:23got a couple events up right now right yes yes we do yes please tell us about it we're blessed
14:28so um for those of you who don't know i have a beautiful friend and who is now also becoming
14:36very close with cassandra and that's the phenomenal uh natasha natasha lee i call it natasha but i always
14:43gotta let people know it's natasha natasha lee from that girl that girl from that girl that girl and make
14:49your dreams come true and so we it's funny because you know facebook does a good good thing of
14:55capturing moments and so one day i was like girl we've known each other for a long time you know
15:00before that girl actually before that girl and um but she still had make your dreams come true you know
15:07and so it's just i believe in moving in god's timing so where my heart wanted us to like do
15:14things
15:14like soon early it just never just was smooth you know so but this became like a smooth time
15:20and i believe and i could see things lining up so we say thank you natasha because that's why
15:27that's why we're here right now and so working with natasha she has this amazing a galentine's event
15:35that she kind of came together with and it's happening on friday february the 13th at oh so quaint
15:42and if you have not seen oh so quaint you need to just come for sure okay i've been oh
15:47so quaint
15:47isn't it and it's quaint baby it's quaint it's beautiful it's so beautiful it's going to be an
15:53amazing time it's the atmosphere it's definitely you have to definitely it's what natasha say it's a
15:57vibe it is a vibe it's a vibe and so yes that is happening on friday uh the 13th at
16:05oh so quaint
16:06at 7 p.m and then that following saturday on the 21st yes that's our linkedin love so all those
16:17couples out here who watching us right now and we have it discounted so for two now you know to
16:23come
16:23there's going to be games we're going to be uh having fun and laughing and beating and bonding
16:29there's like refreshments it's a whole vibe so we don't want to be playing with y'all valentine's day
16:35weekend that's happening that's happening that's happening i said but me and listening if you want

16:45her how you still it ain't valentine's day it's a whole month so come on to linkedin love
16:51yes you know so we excited about that yes i'm about to play this back for my man

17:11have that that symbol that shows you together right yes and then in march we're so happy to
17:17uh return again to the second the second time even though it's their fifth annual wonder woman's
17:24wellness conference and that's um going to be a phenomenal event for women to just make sure you
17:31healthy wellness all the way from your mind body and your soul so we're we're proud to be there when
17:37you come to an event where we're a vendor you actually get to beat on the spot yes you do
17:42you really on the spot on the spot no don't don't don't tip me with a good time i love
17:49that so you
17:50already walk in inspire like listen i'm gonna make things i'm gonna get exactly and and then of course
17:55that's march is you know international women's history month so we have to have a her story of
18:01course not just his story yes it's her story yes and when you share your story you are uh breaking
18:09your own personal chains with that story that might have you bound but you're also you know
18:14giving the key to another woman that unlocks her chains so that's why we need to for you to hear
18:21your story you need to share your story and that's what our focus is this this year yes it's her
18:27story
18:27and cassandra has a phenomenal bracelet that's going to be created for that and the colors and the colors
18:33yes so that's happening on march the 28th yes oh i'm excited i'm excited and we are too
18:40i'm gonna say okay can you give us a little can we know what we will be featuring that day
18:44it's
18:45gonna be all about her i feel like black girl magic yes and you kind of can see from the

18:52it's gonna be black girl magic okay it's giving that but i didn't want to assume like all ages now
18:58we don't discriminate against no other of course not but this is a good time for anybody that's
19:04right for anybody it's all about women and it's a you know it's a phenomenal event too and you know
19:09i'm just so glad sonia you know promoting that by you know sending that love out because it's another
19:15great way ladies to come out yes and just enjoy the day and be around some other women too that
19:21are
19:21truly you know there to receive um whatever you know the agenda is for that day because we don't
19:28know yet but we just know we're there we're excited and the bracelet will be ready for you to make

19:38this is this is i love when people say that because we recognize life is life and for a whole
19:44lot of
19:45people yes you know but once you become part of our link family we again we met in ministry
19:51under the leadership we was taught yes the importance of giving yes so because we see
