00:00Alright, let's go ladies. Alright, it's getting closer and preparations continue to intensify for TNT athletes ahead of the Carifta Swimming Championships, which by the way is taking place this weekend.
00:11Well, 17-year-old Anthony Bernard, a serial youth record breaker, is hoping to make an impact as he competes three breaststroke events.
00:19Well, Bahamas started a win streak. I think they have an 8-year win streak right now. Before, Trinidad always used to win and now they just think that they could come and beat us. So, I think it's good that we have that rivalry where we could come back and try to get back, end their streak.
00:41Well, this will be Bernard's third Carifta Games, but he is yet to get accustomed to the intensity of training under coach Arnold Roberts.
00:49We did a lot of mileage and IM as well. That alone just takes a lot for me.
00:56Did you anticipate it would be this way this morning?
00:59No, I did not.
01:01What did you expect?
01:04I expected, I don't know, like national training, like you can never know what to expect. Like you just had to come here and be in a mentality where, you know, I'm just going to train hard.
