00:15This is what Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Chief Azam Baki had to say regarding investigations

00:20into Human Resource Development Corporation.

00:23Azam's clarification follows a report by the Public Accounts Committee in which an

00:27officer from the Anti-Graft Agency was quoted as saying HRD Corp did not commit any offense

00:32under the MACC Act.

00:34Azam said all the files are still with the investigators and the outcomes have yet to

00:38be decided by the Deputy Public Prosecutor.

00:41He also said he had asked his officers to clarify the matter with the PAC.

00:46In July, MACC said it was investigating HRD Corp following issues outlined in the 2024

00:51Auditor General's report.

00:53It said its investigations were focused on corruption, abuse of power, and misappropriation

00:58of funds.
