00:00Hello there, good morning. Welcome to your latest forecast from the Met Office. Well,
00:05low pressure brought some outbreaks of rain across parts of the country through Saturday.
00:09Sunday, high pressure starts to build in, it settles the weather down. We see lots of
00:13dry weather, plenty of sunshine and then into next week, high pressure continues to stay
00:18established across the UK. Some chillier air across the near continent could affect some
00:23southern and eastern coastal stretches at times. Otherwise, temperatures will start
00:28to rise further, perhaps into the low 20s across central and western parts and north-western
00:33parts as we get towards the middle of next week, something to keep an eye on. Weather
00:38front across the far south-east of England this morning quickly pulls away, some light
00:41rain and drizzle at first, then plenty of sunny spells to come through Sunday, sunshine
00:46becoming more extensive as we move into the afternoon. But it does remain rather blustery,
00:51particularly across northern parts of the UK, parts of the Pennines up into northern
00:56Scotland, we could see gusts of 40mph or so at times. Along the east coast, quite a
01:01brisk northerly breeze. Spring high tides at the moment, we could see some large waves
01:05along the coast. Add on that strength of that northerly breeze, it will feel quite chilly
01:09here, temperatures reaching around 13-14C. But in the sunshine and lighter winds further
01:14south and west, 15-16-17C possible, so feeling pleasant out there in the spring sunshine.
01:22As we head through into the evening time, some thicker clouds start to move in across
01:25parts of Northern Ireland, the Western Isles into the Highlands as well. A few splashes
01:30of rain and drizzle possible at times, and overnight much of England and Wales generally
01:34staying dry with lengthy clear skies, and those winds start to ease as well. So a touch
01:38of frost is possible in the countryside, towns and cities generally falling to 2-3C in places,
01:45and some low cloud starting to develop through the Irish Sea, which could lap against some
01:49western coasts of England and Wales at times. So cloudier stars across Northern Ireland,
01:54western parts of Scotland, some splashes of rain here and elsewhere. Plenty of sunshine,
01:58early fog quickly clearing, and then plenty of sunshine across England and Wales through
02:03the day. Ahead with light winds, showers across Northern Ireland, a few showers for parts
02:08of Scotland as well, but many places dry, though fairly cloudy skies at times. And in
02:13the best of the sunshine again, temperatures well above average, 16-17-18C possible, even
02:18under the cloud further north, temperatures around 15-16C. So a fairly warm afternoon
02:25to come for many. And high pressure continues to be the main feature of our weather through
02:31Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, plenty of sunshine, perhaps some chilly nights, but lots of dry
02:35weather to come. The wind starts to pick up, but across central and north-western parts
02:40of the UK, temperatures well above average, getting close to 20-21C, just a little chillier
02:46along some southern coasts of England at times, and perhaps the east coast too, that
02:51breeze developing. If you'd like more information on the weather where you are for the next
