00:32gas from Venezuela to Trinidad and Tobago was specifically discussed.
00:37That deal was advanced via the lifting of certain sanctions against Venezuela, while
00:42Joe Biden was the U.S. President.
00:45Before the bilateral meeting on Wednesday, Secretary of State Rubio issued a statement
00:49posted on the U.S. State Department's Facebook page reiterating a new policy of the administration
00:54led by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, that
00:59the U.S. will not tolerate any third countries or their oil companies producing, extracting
01:05or exporting oil and oil-related products with the Maduro regime in Venezuela.
01:11The OPM said Prime Minister Young will provide further details on his meeting with Secretary
01:15of State Rubio at Thursday's post-Cabinet media briefing in Port of Spain.
01:20The U.S. Secretary of State also met on Wednesday with Jamaica's Prime Minister, Andrew Olness,
01:26and was scheduled to hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley.
01:32During Prime Minister Young's trip to Jamaica, Public Utilities Minister Colm Imbert served
01:36as Acting Prime Minister.
