00:15However, despite the fact that there is a wide prevalence, on this pathology there still seem to be false myths and stereotypes
00:23that in reality do not find a real correspondence, especially in the perception of patients.
00:30In fact, the disease is usually considered the disease of tremor and the recent data of an Astra research investigation
00:39has shown that in reality for patients the tremor does not represent the most important symptom,
00:45indeed for 58% of patients this is not the most unbearable symptom or even the most embarrassing symptom.
00:54In Zambon we are guided by the commitment to improve the quality of life of people through innovation,
01:01but also the support to the community of patients and to the clinical world is important
01:07because it puts us in a position to respond to the needs of people forced to deal with diseases with a high impact such as Parkinson's disease.
01:19This also includes the work that we have done and continue to do with the Parkinson's Confederation Italy
01:26and which has been concretized in the realization of this documentary that brings on the screen the personification of the disease,
01:34showing it in all its complexity.
01:37In the documentary there will be several actors who present Mr. Parkinson's face and voice,
01:43while he dialogues with three patients, a caregiver and a doctor, bringing up real stories of courage.
