00:17the substandard and uncertified products in Legazpi City, Albay were helped not to be used for profit.
00:25The damaged products of the Department of Trade and Industry of DTI Bicol,
00:29such as plastic chairs, appliances, and construction materials,
00:34are from Albay and Camarinesur, worth more than Php 700,000.
00:39That is part of their activities for the celebration of World Consumer Rights Day.
00:45This is a result of our monitoring activity last year.
00:54So, the total value of this is Php 702,230.
01:03Bunao also explained that the uncertified and substandard products cannot be donated
01:10because it is harmful to the public's safety.
01:13Once the construction is completed,
01:14they will continue their monitoring so that the uncertified products will not be affected by DTI's surveillance.
01:22DTI's goal is to prove that they are serious about their campaign against the sellers of substandard products.
01:32After the damage, it will be sold in a junk shop
01:35where the money sold here will be returned to the Bureau of Treasury.
