00:00Let's find out the prices of groceries this morning in one of the markets in Caloocan City.

00:05It's only a few days and it's already Christmas.

00:16Our countrymen are planning what to prepare for their meals

00:22tomorrow for Christmas.

00:24So here are the prices for the main streets of Noche Buena in Langaray Public Market, Caloocan City.

00:34Let's start with the sautés.

00:36The garlic is from Php 140 to Php 160 per kilo.

00:40The red onion is from Php 120 to Php 140 per kilo.

00:44The white onion is from Php 120 per kilo.

00:48And the tomato is from Php 240 per kilo.

00:51The egg is from Php 7 to Php 9 per piece.

00:56Or from Php 200 to Php 250 per tray.

01:00If we're going to cook pasta,

01:03the spaghetti is from Php 125 per 800 grams.

01:07The macaroni pasta is from Php 70.

01:09The tomato sauce is from Php 16 to Php 105 depending on the gram.

01:14The spaghetti sauce is from Php 45 to Php 100 depending on the gram.

01:18The queso is from Php 45 to Php 50.

01:20And the hotdog is from Php 205 to Php 210.

01:26If you're making Pinoy noodles,

01:28the pancit bihon and pancit canton noodles are from Php 100 to Php 120 per kilo.

01:34The string of string beans is from Php 10 to Php 15 per kilo.

01:38The carrots are from Php 120 to Php 140 per kilo.

01:41And the bell pepper is from Php 400 to Php 700 per kilo.

01:47And of course, the fruit salad is a must-have.

01:51The 836 grams can of fruit cocktail is from Php 95 to Php 120.

01:57While the condensadas and evaporadas are from Php 25 to Php 75 depending on the gram.

02:03Meanwhile, the washed sugar is from Php 75 per kilo.

02:08While the oil is from Php 140 per liter.

02:13The rice is just open here in Langaray Public Market.

02:19Earlier this morning, it was confirmed that there is Php 40 per kilo of rice available here.

02:25Actually, there is Php 38 per kilo here.

02:29We remember that last Saturday, the Department of Agriculture announced

02:34that they will expand the Rice for All program to more markets here in Metro Manila

02:40so that our countrymen will be able to buy rice before Christmas and New Year.

02:49Of course, we need that because we are in a tight budget right now.

02:54The Php 40 per kilo Rice for All program is available today.

02:58So you need to buy it today because tomorrow is December 24.

03:03Christmas is December 25.

03:04Rizal Day is December 30.

03:07Also, on the first day of the new year,

03:10our Kadiwa kiosks that sell Php 40 per kilo of rice are closed.
