00:24in the party would be decided by DAP members.

00:29The Bagan MP was responding to reports by Chinese media claiming that he would announce

00:34his withdrawal at the party's national convention after meeting with party leaders yesterday.

00:40Previously, FMT reported that there was a concerted push to oust Lim from his leadership

00:46position in DAP.

00:49Certain factions within DAP are advocating for Penang Chief Minister Chow Kwan-yew to

00:55take over as chairman.

00:58However, a significant number of members support Lim's continued leadership, viewing him as

01:04a strong personality, unafraid to stand up to PKR and UMNO.
