00:00An interfaith group has urged the authorities to take stern action on a pair of foreigners

00:06who allegedly went door-to-door at a block of People's Housing Programme flats to propagate

00:10their faith to Muslims.

00:13The Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism

00:18said if the allegations were true, the pair should be deported and banned from returning

00:23to Malaysia.

00:25Its president, Tan Ho Chiao, said the organisation is always against people going house-to-house

00:29to propagate their religion.

00:32A viral video showed residents of the PPR in Wangsa Maju ordering the pair to leave

00:37the flats after they allegedly went door-to-door to propagate their faith.

00:47Tan said this was the second case in the span of about two months involving foreigners propagating

00:51their faith in public.

00:54In the earlier case, in January, two foreigners were confronted by a member of the public

00:59after allegedly distributing leaflets on Christianity at Desa Stapa.

01:04Police launched an investigation and were reportedly tracking the duo down.
