00:00pressure for party promoters as the TTPS finds itself facing human resource
00:06constraints with the SOE overlapping with the carnival season. I have seen
00:11that that the SOE can in fact the carnival proceedings are because of the
00:17demand power deployment that we have to use to deal with our operations and the
00:24carnival activities so on my desk I know that I have a disapproved to that
00:33that's suggested activities by persons who wanted to have a juve celebrations
00:39next Wednesday and it that had was to be denied because of what we are planning
00:45to do and then we are also looking at the fact that juve is already catered
00:50for in the carnival celebrations so we are asking you to bear in mind with us
00:55have some patience and that's not all with just over one week to go until
01:00masqueraders hit the road apparently a number of carnival stakeholders have not
01:05done the needful to secure the requisite permits normally around this time we
01:10would see approximately three to four hundred applicants already by persons
01:14who have to get permits for their trucks and other vehicles that would be on the
01:18entourage for their bands we have only seen about eight applications come in
01:25thus far so I'm wondering what is taking place but I know Trinity style is always
01:30late so I know next week there will be a warning persons please do not wait until
01:36last minute to come in here or come and apply for your permits applications can
01:40be dropped off at Riverside Plaza on the fifth floor or at the Woodbrook youth
01:45facility use this opportunity wisely because we are we would be locking off
01:49on Friday the 28th of February that would be the last day so please use this
01:55opportunity wisely because if you are found on the roadway
01:59vehicles that have not that do not have the requisite permits you would be
02:04taking off the route and I'd be to your demise right we'll have we also have
02:09licensing we can closely with us we have a task force that would be working with
02:13licensing and they would be enforcing this the TGPS says with just about 10
02:19more big events carded for the carnival season all events thus far have been
02:24free of major incidents Renessa cutting TV 6 News
