00:00The spirit of Carnival is evolution, pushing boundaries, creating unforgettable experiences,
00:08and staying true to the essence of freedom and expression while honoring our culture,
00:13our history, and our people.
00:16And in 2025, Caesar's Army is stepping boldly into a new era, as its CEO, Jules Sabayan,
00:24explains.
00:25Well, Caesar's Army's TNT Carnival 2025 calendar basically comprises of three events
00:34and a band, right?
00:38On Carnival Thursday, I have AM Beach, which is our premium, all-inclusive beach festival.
00:45Carnival Saturday, we have AM Bush, which is like my alternative paint powder, water,
00:52foam, madness kind of party, right?
00:56Finally, Caesar's Army and Sabayan are making their boldest move yet, with Bacchanal Army
01:02and Roadblock, a Monday-only event.
01:05The experience replaces the beloved rogue mass band, which has been around for seven
01:11years.
01:12Carnival Monday is where Relian truly delved into, I guess, a new era of Caesar's Army
01:18by creating our first-ever Monday-only mass band with the Bacchanal Army.
01:26Our concept this year is one road, one day, one army, one road, one band, right?
01:33There are four events this year, but all with a unique flavor.
01:38It's important to note, too, that we always try to create these different offerings.
01:43So you will never find, like in Carnival Week, that we're supplying the same sort of concept
01:50in terms of what we offer.
01:52And after years of partnering with Tribe on the rogue brand, the decision not to continue
01:58with the mass band this year was difficult.
02:01However, Sabayan and his team saw an opportunity to fill the gap created by this decision to
02:07reach new and old customers alike, especially persons who were undecided about Carnival.
02:15Because I just felt like there were a number of persons leading up to Carnival that were
02:20just undecided.
02:22They didn't know where they wanted to play.
02:25They wanted that true road experience.
02:29They wanted the raw material, the raw ingredient that is the road, right?
02:34And I felt like Caesars Army, just because we did not do the band, it was important for
02:39us to take that first step and say, let's create the Bacchanal Army.
02:43Let's create a one road and see where it goes from there.
02:47Caesars Army has also heard patrons complain about the rising costs of Carnival, and as
02:53such, the alternative band option was cemented.
02:58Foreigners who leave because they, based on the flights, they leave on Sundays or Monday,
03:03they don't even stay the whole time anymore, it's just expensive, right?
03:08Persons just want one taste.
03:10They want one day, they want one taste of being on the actual road, but it's too expensive.
03:16Everything is too expensive and it's not just the Carnival bands itself, it's the hotel,
03:21it's the FETs, everything, the all-inclusive, the holistic package is just too much now.
03:27And, in keeping with the idea and concepts of freedom of expression for their much-beloved
03:33Bacchanal Road, Bacchanal Army and Roadblock were devised.
03:38And self-expression, similar to the Bacchanal Road event, is one of the driving forces for
03:45Caesars Army this year.
