The carnival season is in full swing, and early Saturday morning saw thousands of enthusiastic revelers flocking to the Brian Lara Cricket Academy for Xperience: The Trident.

00:00It was a massive turnout at the Kula Breakfast Party.
00:04Patrons came from all over, some traveling as far as Africa, to revel in the vibrant atmosphere.

00:24from former Road March and Soka Monarch winner Sherwane Winchester.

00:48We asked Sherwane what keeps him so passionate about performing.
00:52You give the audience 5% and they send it back to me 10%.
00:56I take that 10% and I send 20% and we just keep going up and up and up. I love what I do.
01:00I'm just so thankful that you've been giving life, that you could perform them.
01:05I'm thankful that I have these hits thanks to the fan base.
01:08I'm thankful for the audience for appreciating the music.
01:11And mostly I'm thankful to God for giving me these songs because without him nothing is possible.
