00:00Let me hope he's all right.
00:02The Cocky Calf Caribbean Cup comes back into play as defending TTPFL champions, Defence Force.
00:07Well, they had a miserable night against their Jamaican opponents last evening
00:11as they were beaten 5-1 in their semifinal first select among Pleasant.
00:15Raheem Edwards scored a breeze for the Jamaicans,
00:17who are now overwhelming favourites to advance to their first Caribbean Cup finals.
00:23It took Defence Force only five minutes to fall behind the eight ball against their Jamaican challenges.
00:28Turn and the goal! Offside flag is up!
00:34For a moment, it seemed the offside flag would save them, but they are voted in favour of Mount Pleasant.
00:40The Army men were also vulnerable to the long ball as Raheem Edwards made no mistake with his chance.
00:46For Raheem Edwards! And Edwards does not miss from there!
00:51Mount Pleasant took a tunnel lead to the dressing room as they were in full control
00:55and it would get worse for the TTPFL champions as Edwards notched his brace just before the hour mark.
01:01Chance and Mount Pleasant get their third goal of the match.
01:07Things would go from bad to worse for the hoes in the final minutes of the match
01:11as Shaquille Bradford made it 4-0
01:13and Kimoni Bailey piled it on with a fifth in added-on time.
01:17Kaim Thomas' goal in the 97th was the only bright spot on a dark night for Defence Force
01:27as Mount Pleasant took a commanding 5-1 first leg advantage
01:31while tying the record for consecutive wins in the tournament with five.
01:36Terence Clark, TV6 Sport.
01:37Well, even the referee was shook by what he saw.
01:40Tell you well, it's not often you hear coaches being honest even after a defeat
01:44but Devon Jocelyn was genuinely honest in his assessment of Defence Force jobbing against the Jamaicans.
01:49Sometimes as coaches, we have to be honest
01:53and if I'm being honest, I think they were shorter, faster to the borders
01:58so sometimes when they lose, they will know
02:02and for me, what I see is that
02:04the service coaches that are the physical team
02:08have to know until they are shorter, faster, fitter.
02:14I believe we are at a decent level
02:19but tonight, if I'm being honest
02:23I think it was the end of the season
02:25if I'm being totally honest.
02:28And as for the return leg in Jamaica
02:30Jocelyn knows not much is expected from them
02:33but he left the door open for the unpredictable media of football.
02:39If I look at Jamaica, I'm afraid
02:40but I do it and people in there
02:43with no expectation to qualify
02:45but we will go with the attitude to try to win the game
02:48and we're doing football
02:50funny things has happened, right?
02:52We can make mention of the PSG basketball again many years ago, right?
02:56But as I say, when we started off this campaign
03:00the main objective was to get to the CONCACAF Cup
03:05and I still had that, right?
03:07And then I have a second level
03:09so we will focus
03:11for the vital is of that one
03:22and then it will come up to this entire year
03:23so we can give it to the police
03:25to do the defense
03:26and so we will focus the time
03:27and the people on behalf of the football team
03:28along with the football team
03:30along with other players
03:31we're getting a good offense
03:32to bring you up to the football team
03:33somewhere
