00:00A man was arrested in Taytay, Rizal after his own son was hostaged.

00:07This is the center of the news of Vel Custodio.

00:12The video shows the hostage being a 3-year-old boy

00:16in C6 Road, Barangay Santa Ana, Taytay, Rizal around 7 p.m.

00:21According to the first investigation by the police,

00:24the suspect, a 30-year-old boy, was hostaged by his 13-year-old stepdaughter.

00:54His behavior was triggered and his biological son, the boy, was rescued and was hostaged on C6 Highway.

01:09Taytay Police Task Force multipliers and barangay personnel negotiated for a few minutes.

01:15What I saw earlier was a bit dangerous because his leg was stabbed.

01:26The hostage was rescued and the victim was saved.

01:32The crowd control, because there were a lot of people earlier and the traffic management,

01:40based on my situation earlier, I checked that he won't hurt his son because he's his son.

01:50That's where I focused on the emotion of our hostage taker.

01:57Our priority there is the safety of the hostage and of course, the hostage.

02:08The suspect is in the custody of the PNP,

02:10facing several serious cases of illegal detention and alarms and scandals under the revised penal code

02:17and illegal possession of deadly weapons.

02:19The police is still investigating the incident, including the case of rape.
